And now they’re going to be as long as they live… Do you suppose they’ve Actually gotten married by SA’s equivalent of a Judge?! I wonder how Evie’s daughters and grandchildren (especially Alix) are going to react to her finally taking the Big Step with Arnold. Sometimes finding love in one’s later years can be really extra-special… Case in point: later on today (Saturday), we are going to a wedding of two people in their late 50s-early 60s. Its been such a blast watching them be in love…holding hands, etc! I can hardly wait for the ceremony itself…no two people could be as in love as these two (just like every other couple getting married)! Its going to be a blast… ;)

Val & Joan; meet your new stepfather, Holly, Alix, Max & Luci, meet your new step-grandfather. As for Wally, his new stepfather-oin-law.

I am not so sure that saying something about “love” is necessary…all you have to do is look into their eyes and that says everything… Besides, they’ve been together long enough to “know” they’re in love with each other. Saying “I love you” is a really neat thing to hear, but two hearts can be lovingly joined together without an actual verbal conversation declaring one’s love with each other. And, as most of us know, the words, “I love you” is used so much to describe so many other things that it no longer has the power it once had… ;)

Not really. Although she’s a world traveler and about as free-spirited as they come, she comes from a generation that didn’t say “I love you” often. If you’ve noticed, she also hasn’t said it much to Alix or Holly, much less her daughters. But, they ALL know she loves them!

Has Evie’s family even met Arnold?
    .
I hope she does take him “home” to get acquainted, and then it spurs Val and Phil to take the plunge!

Is that a little veil showing from the back of Evie’s head?

There’s no law against having another wedding ceremony when she takes him home. My wife and I have done it a couple times in different contexts for the fun of it.

Kind of a shame that Evie didn’t invite the rest of her family.

Ah, but “I love you,” said by the right person is very powerful and magical.
