Well, Evie fished and caught one. Now it’s time to reel in or cut it loose.

    Evie didn’t see that coming.
The way Evie had her arms crossed yesterday, body language said no way.

I have an Aunt and Uncle. She came to visit him for the weekend. He proposed when she was getting ready to head home. Her response was “When?” They get married the next weekend.

WOW! I wasn’t expecting that. Now I can’t wait for tomorrow’s strip. What does everyone think will happen? I haven’t a clue. (Always thought Val and Phil).

You will really be right if Evie says, “come with me.”

… that’s the sad part: one partner realising they love and want to share and the other realising they don’t want to share and don’t really love that much… this will break Arnold’s heart… why do I say this: because “Eep” and a shocked expression mixed with pity isn’t exactly happy exaltation…. let’s hope she’s not too cruel (like: “bag it Arnie, I’m not anybodies other half, thought you had that one worked out-snort”)

I don’t know why Wally is concerned about the weather. A typical winter day in Cape Town is like a nice spring day in Michigan.
