Val: Holly, you can't fake illness just because you haven't finished your homework. Holly: Why not? Val: because you can't be sick the rest of your LIFE! You have to face your responsibilities! How much homework do you need to make up?? Holly: Basically...all of it. Val: Now I feel sick.
Don’t let Holly get away with it!It puzzles me as to why seemingly intelligent kids just goof off their entire middle-school/high-school lives…then they graduate by seconds, and then they have no plans whatsoever. Or, if they have plans, they usually wash out of them… I know someone like that, and it is sad to watch him ruin his life. I guess he’ll learn by the school of hard knocks… ;)
