Stone Soup by Jan Eliot Val: Let's go out to lunch. Joan: I'd LOVE to. Where? Val: I heard about a new French deli...cozy, with exotic little tarts and salads... Val: OR...there's a new SUSHI BAR! Joan: I LOVE sushi! Let's do that!! Joan: Wait...where will the KIDS eat? Val: PIZZA. AGAIN. Joan: If you smother it in red peppers, it's a LITTLE exciting.
My six year old LOVES sushi. I think it’s a bit ridiculous to assume that kids aren’t going to appreciate good food. Mostly I think it’s the parents that aren’t willing to pay for it. That’s why things like sushi that are so easy make at home are great. Tasty and cheap!
