    Insults are useless…
unless of course they pierce the target like an icy spear and have them weep at your feet… I might be getting carried away…

Sounds like she’s no longer interested in having friends. She just wants to up-insult everyone, a guarantee that no one will want to be her friend. Do you really want to be all alone, Holly? With no one but Alix to hang around with?

The perfect insult is a phrase placed as a compliment so that the receiver cannot reply without injury.

Right. And the ones doing the insulting are bothered by with same problem. Take my old basketball coach, for example. He made much fun of my lack of ability, when I was on the team mostly to get away from home. So, what is this genius doing now? Why he’s making a fool of himself with activities he’s utterly incompetent in just to get away from a hateful wife.

Yeah, that’s ideal, but it requires a certain kind of twisted talent, which I don’t possess.

Hence, I avoid people who like to play those games. It really saves so much energy.
