Aww…I am so happy for them. This couldn’t be any
better…..(except if the airlines found their luggage
and gave them a 1 night’s stay at a free hotel for
the trouble. An extra night in Paris) We can dream
    can’t we? :-)

So, does anyone get what the bird is about? What is that, a wig? A helmet?

You’ve been in Paris for none days and still haven’t seen either the Louvre or Versailles? Get out of bed already!

I’ve been to Paris 3 times in my life, and have yet to make it to Versailles. Too many other things to do (headed up by walking and people watching – plus eating!).

When I was in Paris we spent one day at the Louvre and barely saw any of it. That place is huge! Versailles you can see in a day, but I didn’t think it was that impressive. Instead go see Sainte Chapelle on a sunny day.

If I were to visit France, I think I’d be more interested in the country/rural parts than Paris. True, Paris does have its charm, but really, it’s just like every other big city.

Although, I wouldn’t say no to touring Notre Dame Cathedral and the Louvre, and perhaps a couple of other places.
