    Slightly reminds me of heading home from Hilo, Big Island with a lay-over and flight change in Honolulu, Oahu Island. Had to book a new flight from Honolulu for the next day.

    The old question: Will they play in Peoria? If you don’t get this pun, its because you are not old enough.

    @Bargrove

    Major League Human Cannonball never played in Peoria. They couldn’t get a team.

    The runways at the Paris airport aren’t wide enough for international flights.

    The airline I worked for has been flying international flights there for around twenty years now.

    You obviously didn’t click the (Paris, IL) airport link.

    I think this stems back from the guess that was made that they were going to Peoria not Paris per the slip of the tongue.

    When the family was ‘keeping’ the secret of Paris, didn’t Jan tell Joan that Wally was taking her to Peoria?

    Paris hasseverak airports, two of which have appropriate international runways.

    Paris-Le Bourget is unsuitable for most commercial flights
    Paris-Orly is open for national flights but unsuitable for wide bodies.
    Charles-de-Gaulle is the Int’l airport but is in Roissy, not Paris (over 22 km away). The Paris-Roissy name is just a marketing ploy.
