Jan Eliot's funny and irreverent Stone Soup follows the saga of an extended, blended family, starring two working-mom sisters living just across the fence from each other. Val and Joan share life with their opinionated mother, a middle-school diva and 10-year-old tomboy, a reclusive teenage boy, a wild preschooler and his new baby sister...and of course Wally, the ultimate nice guy who steps into his stepdad shoes with grace amid the chaos. Working-parent hassles, pre-school tantrums, middle-school angst, love and the single mom... it's all here in Stone Soup.

How about buying new ones in Paris?

@samvadi
But she’s an American. Will metric clothes even fit her?
Saskfan said, 4 months ago
@frumdebang
If Volkswagen can make a car to fit average Americans, I’m sure France can make clothes for them, too.

Good excuse to buy new…

Clothing does not come in “metric” per se. But Eurpoean sizing is different from American.

Too much. Italy is worse though. It’s because the two are the center of fashion.

Au Printemps. It is to Paris what Harrod’s is to London and what Bloomingdale’s is to New York.

She’ll just have to buy clothes 3 sizes larger – they run smaller there LOL

I would buy one really nice outfit …she’ll always have Paris!!

When I went to London, I walked into Harrods and walked out. You would not belive the prices. That is where the wealthy arab oil money used to shop – I don’t know if they still do?
