Stone Soup by Jan Eliot Joan: My kids are driving me CRAZY! Max: !!! Luci: !!! Joan: Can I bring them to your house? Val: Holly? Alix! Aunt Joan is here! Come get Max and Luci so she can relax! DING DONG Holly: C'mon, you two. We'll have fun upstairs. Joan: What good daughters! Val: Yeah, I bribe them to be like that. Joan: What?? Val: There's another five in it for you if you give them baths! Holly: DONE! Joan: I'm SHOCKED. Joan: Sure you are. Red, white, or rose?
LOL!! I’m fine with a little bribery. I expect good behavior and ordinary actions (like doing chores), but there are times when they need a little more “incentive”. For example, my oldest hates wearing skirts or dresses, so if I want to have professional pictures taken and I want her to wear a skirt, I’ll give her a small toy as incentive. Hey, whatever works…
