Jan Eliot's funny and irreverent Stone Soup follows the saga of an extended, blended family, starring two working-mom sisters living just across the fence from each other. Val and Joan share life with their opinionated mother, a middle-school diva and 10-year-old tomboy, a reclusive teenage boy, a wild preschooler and his new baby sister...and of course Wally, the ultimate nice guy who steps into his stepdad shoes with grace amid the chaos. Working-parent hassles, pre-school tantrums, middle-school angst, love and the single mom... it's all here in Stone Soup.

Wait a minute. In the first and final panels, the door was open whereas in the third ‘twas closed.(Luckily I don’t have a dog with whom to walk.)

It’s weirder than that. The door handle swapped sides, and a window appeared.\, a picture disappeared.

Biscuit needs a sweater at least.

True the picture on the wall of the atrium next to the mirror disappears and the door handle moves to the opposite side when the door is open. Darn those illustrators. In such a rush and with no proof reader to catch those things in the pencil stage.

The door must also be open in panel two, because there’s a leaf blowing in right above the dog.

You would think that a door that had the handle on the hinged side of the would be for security and would be outside instead of inside.

& Paul Smith & Mormon, you’re right about the door, but in the 2nd panel she’s in a different room. She walked just under the archway to hear their responses.

A proofreader like myself (one word please) would not be responsible for designs or images, just text. A designer, perhaps?

Is this one of those things where you are suppose to spot 6 differences between the two pictures?
