Jan Eliot's funny and irreverent Stone Soup follows the saga of an extended, blended family, starring two working-mom sisters living just across the fence from each other. Val and Joan share life with their opinionated mother, a middle-school diva and 10-year-old tomboy, a reclusive teenage boy, a wild preschooler and his new baby sister...and of course Wally, the ultimate nice guy who steps into his stepdad shoes with grace amid the chaos. Working-parent hassles, pre-school tantrums, middle-school angst, love and the single mom... it's all here in Stone Soup.

Whoever said the R&RHofF yesterday, they were right. (I’d personally go for the John Denver Sanctuary in Aspen, Colorado, first followed by Graceland and THEN the R&RHofF.)

I’ll stop at John Denver, unless they have a HofF for Folk & Protest Music, then I’ll go there first.

Not to badmouth the dead but do they have a place for bad pilots?
And, why can’t they have their cake… just book a trip to old Pariee with a stopover in Cleveland! How long can it take to go through the RRHoF??

It’s about that time of year when those nimrods at the RaRHoF overlook Rush for nomination… again.

I didn’t know Limbaugh played guitar.

I’ll go when Rush, The Moody Blues, and Yes are inducted, so basically – never.

Moody Blues YES! It seems the hall (I’ve heard it’s Jan Wenner) has a BIG voice in who gets “selected”.

The Moody Blues for sure! And I’ve heard that Jan Wenner has a BIG voice in who gets “selected”.

I saw the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame a couple of years ago, but did not go in. I was there to tour the World War 2 submarine USS COD, which is moored just down the street from the HoF.
