Well, the comic is about real home life. And in real life, politics have gotten awfully scary. Art draws from life, and I applaud Jan for bringing real life issues into her comic’s world, instead of just ignoring them. One of the things I like about Stone Soup is that it doesn’t shy away from the grittiness of life (sometimes babies stink, and sometimes kids are bratty, and sometimes millionaires compromise our political process). Politics are part of life, so they’re fair game for a comic portraying a family existing in the world. If that annoys you, then maybe you should stick to Cathy, Blondie, and Dennis the Menace.

I remember when Rove rapped on TV. I think he could have used oil for how he moved.

Afficionado — sorry, but that’s backwards.

These comics aren’t commissioned by GoComics just for posting on this website.

They’re written for publication in American newspapers, which is the main business of Universal UClick.
(A few have international distribution but that’s up to the newspapers that choose to pay for and publish them.)

You and everyone else in the world are most welcome to come here and read them, and participate in forums….

but complaining cos the comics are too American is like me visiting a Maltese news site and complaining cos the news is about Malta

Here’s another name for you: George Soros.

Oh, wait, he may be a multibillionaire trying to impose his agenda on us all, but he’s a lefty so that’s a good thing. Nothing to see, move along, folks.

Given that this is the end of the week, might one hope that this “Muffy after her first semester of college now knows everything and will explain the world to us ignorant souls” rant has run its course?
