Jan Eliot's funny and irreverent Stone Soup follows the saga of an extended, blended family, starring two working-mom sisters living just across the fence from each other. Val and Joan share life with their opinionated mother, a middle-school diva and 10-year-old tomboy, a reclusive teenage boy, a wild preschooler and his new baby sister...and of course Wally, the ultimate nice guy who steps into his stepdad shoes with grace amid the chaos. Working-parent hassles, pre-school tantrums, middle-school angst, love and the single mom... it's all here in Stone Soup.

I’ve seen little ones attempt to throw a frisbee - it’s painful to watch.
If Biscuit were like my dog, she’d take the frisbee and turn it into plastic confetti.

My Yorkie, Chihuahua, four cats and a Parakeet are all smarter than the kid, and play better with each other! In 83 years I’ve seen it all, heard it all, done it all. I just can’t remember it all !!!

My brother’s Corgi chases around a basketball that’s half his size. Whenever I kick it, the dog usually runs in front of it, getting it in his face. He doesn’t seem to mind.

sandor, my black lab was the same way when she was younger and actually had energy. she’d plow over it so fast when chasing it that i thought she’d break a leg or something!

Hey, does anyone actually think Max is throwing the Frisbee at Biscuit’s head on purpose? The pictures are too small for me to tell…
