Wally: You know, Val, sometimes I look at Joan and think "Honestly, if she'd only do things my way, she'd be much better off." Val: I know what you mean, Wally. I have, on occasion, offered my opinion to friends when it was simply obvious to me where they were going wrong. And you know what? I never hear from them anymore. Wally: People are so closed-minded. Val: My point exactly!
I am in a FB group of people caring for people with dementia. The number of perfect solutions offered by people who see our loved ones for 2 hours a year and haven’t talked to their doctors and dealt with the bureaucracy and spoken to other caretakers and in short has no idea what the diseases have done is astounding.
