Remember that the police force is an offshoot of the Executive branch for the state, which in this case is run by Pawlenty-R. Definitely the Republican Convention since us Dems generally tolerate opposing views. It is they that “pray for rain” to drown out Denver…

He’s referring to St Paul where the RNC will be. There is a lot of legal wrangling for permits, parade routes etc. But protesters are all being funneled to “Free Speech Zones” in another state or some sh!t.
