Of course, he could just as easily have drawn in any president of the last several decades. “At the end of their run, presidents usually become preoccupied with world affairs - an area in which they have a much freer hand.” (J. Goldberg) All of those presidents having about an equal amount of success.
Seems like a filler comic.

No no no, Stewpot -
Despite your mistaken presumption, it is not flattery to illustrate that “A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of a mediocre mind.”

smullen is right on this, and that’s the sad part. Why do U.S. Presidents wait till the end of their Presidency to address world matters. It’s a sad legacy.

Ohhh, Stew-pid, I’ve gotta put it into large print for you now. I was demonstrating what a fatiguing parrot you are (which, despite your impotent accusations, I am not as the record will show). In that sense I have failed to get across to that inpenetrably dense cranium of yours. Certainly not worth the time I’m wasting when I could be signing up for those free Obama buttons that MoveOn’s handing out!!!
And do make sure you get your Gramps’ “You Kids Get Off My Lawn!” signs too. Fair game, I’ll never gripe.
