For more than two decades, political cartoonist Steve Kelley has devoted his attention to public officials the way the radiator grille of a tractor-trailer might devote its attention to June bugs. He has delighted readers by consistently consigning office-holders to the one fate they fear most: that of not being taken seriously.

Assign Gosnell to trash detail, permanently.

..and the liberal media completely ignores this story. Oh, wait, that was a couple weeks ago, never mind. My bad.
(Something you’ll never actually hear from the Cons).

Why didn’t he say “what does it matter now” when he was on the witness stand? It would have gotten the press to praise him and slander anyone that pointed out the killings he was responsible for.

Your comments remind me of the book publisher that distills the reviewer’s phrase,
“This book is a terrible choice if you are looking for a fast-paced action thriller” and prints “….a fast-paced action thriller!” on the cover.
Be careful with statements taken out of context. It could happen to you.

He deserves to be fried. However, in order to do that we’d need to go through years of appeals. Since he’s old enough that he’ll probably die before the appeals ran out, the best answer is to let him rot in jail and save the taxpayers millions. Try not to be sad for the lawyers who would have made money through all those appeals.

When the Republicans make abortion illegal, there will be Gosnells in every city.

@Radish
The only thing I disagree with is “When”, it would more likely be “if” and that’s not likely to ever happen.
.
Summing things up, I mostly agree with you and I think I’m gonna be sick.

@Genome Project
There’s another bad abortionist story, maybe worse, brewing in Texas.
.
Let’s see how long it takes the media to tell you about it.

I’ve always thought it was a worse punishment to live thousands of days trapped in prison with a population of men who have nothing to lose,, rather than death. Maybe it’s knowing you are going to die that makes it terrifying for some.

@Radish
so you’re saying it will be easy to get an abortion if abortions are illegal.
.
This isn’t an issue about abortion, this is an issue about killing “the fetus” after it is born alive.
.
And it appears that making abortions legal allowed that to happen.
.
I’m not for making abortions illegal, but it doesn’t matter whether something is legal or not, there will always be abuse.
.
Besides, Republicans won’t make abortion illegal.

“so you’re saying it will be easy to get an abortion if abortions are illegal.”
I might be wrong; sorry if I am—but I think the point was that if abortions become illegal, only the Gosnells of the world will provide them.
Abortion is regulated by law at this time. Obviously, not every violation of the law is prosecuted, regardless of the law. Sometimes this is intentional. Most times not.
But when abortion becomes illegal, there will be no guidelines to the abortions that will still happen, and we’ll be back to the days where young women die from “complications from appendicitis surgery”, which was a popular euphemism in the good old days of the 50s and 60s.

Abortions aren’t going to become illegal. .
.
The ONLY possibility would be if a majority of the population wanted that, and it appears that they don’t.
