    Brandon, you do not have any idea about what “Chicago style corruption” means. The people whose talking points you have been listening to have watched too many old Al Capone movies. Look up Shakman Decree if you ever have a cogent moment.

    The reference was to the apparent failure of the famed Notre Dame defense to even show up in the Championship college football game vs. The Alabama Crimson Tide.

    Notre Dame (as the #1 ranked team and the only unbeaten team in the FBS in college football) got destroyed by Alabama in the National Championship Game. In fact, their vaunted middle linebacker looked like a deer in the headlights most of the game. 42-14 (after trailing 35-0).
