The BS/coverup is the fact that the House Republicans were the ones who actually voted down an increase of security for the Libyan Embassy, and they are now blaming Obama for their own vote.

Although the actual funding was not cut it
sends a clear message to State and each
individual working there. Be frugal. Don’t
spend so much money. Congress will hold
hearings if you do. You will get into trouble.
And this kind of psy-ops can lead to bad
    decisions, like in Benghazi…

It was a thank you to Lynne for providing the link. It’s good when people back up their comments with reasoned facts. I understand your confusion as you deal with facts, reason, or even courtesy so rarely. You, and conservatives and liberals who use your tone, are hurting America, and you should stand down a little. Keep commenting, but think before you hit the submit key. And then Howgozit, you’ll find it going a lot better.
    Disrespectfully,

Well according to Biden they only knew what Intelligence told them. So my guess is it took Obama two weeks to read that daily briefing and he still has not told Biden the whole truth of the matter. At least that is what I could understand with all that laughing Biden was doing.

    @Howgozit
I can explain how “only the House passes this type of bill.”

It is the responsibility of the House of Representatives to initiate spending bills. When they pass, the Senate receives them for discussion and voting. If they don’t pass, the Senate is not involved, nor is the President.

Since House Republicans would not pass this bill, they bear at least a large part of the responsibility.

I hope this gives you a clearer understanding of the workings (I use the term very loosely) of Congress.

But of course, when all is said and done, everything is Obama’s fault.

Simple facts: the House Republicans cut the budgets. We’ve been operating under continuing resolutions because of THEM, so how is it Obama “increased spending”? Oh, right, he just put a bunch of it on the books.

As to the Libya situation, and other “events” around the world that are covert, or, for security reasons, NONE OF THE PUBLIC"S “NEED TO KNOW”, folks such as ISSA and his “committee” are the ones endangering our people around the world, and that, to me, and others, represents treason.

Now Mitt is on the stump blowing the whistle again, for political advantage. Romney needs to get on his bus, and go back home, and drop out of “the race”.

for 3 years the Democrat senate has prevented the passage of a budget…..it takes a spending bill approved by both the House and the Senate and signed by the President to fund the federal agencies. Department budgets are controlled by the executive branch which is Democrat since Jan. 2009.
    -
If funds were “short” for security for US diplomats overseas, then for high-risk places like Libya and Cairo and other “new” coup governments in North Africa, at least the State Department could have used the Military which has its own budget!
    -
the Obama administration clearly does not put a high priority on the lives of our overseas civilians, and maybe not even on our military who seem in some areas to be shorthanded.
    -
Where does the Buck Stop in the Obama regime?
