As Stephen Colbert pointed out, TV ratings are way up since they put in the new, far more entertaining refs. People are watching, hoping to see a really bad call, even people who never watched TV football before. So the new refs are, from the bottom line perspective, working out great (and that’s the only perspective that should matter in a capitalist society).

In keeping with the Republican’s Big Business, and Wall Street strategy that no oversight, or regulations need to be in place to keep those rich baboons from screwing Americans any chance they get. Referees will no longer govern the NFL football games. Really, they weren’t very effective anyway, wink, wink, nudge,nudge, knowwhatimean!
