Because it could have been stopped, but nothing was done about it. So this is what they get.

its about not following any process that could have ended the abuse. It is a wake up call across the country: If you suspect something : Speak up . It is so that everyone can understand how serious this thing was. It was not the players fault. But in the future if athlete suspects something similar do you think they will speak up?

I would have been fine with the death penalty. Covering up child molestation just so you can continue to coach and win games is as evil and hideous as you can get.

Well not quite, but close. Jerry holds the title for evil and hideous! May he rot in HE!!

You’re right. That monster Sandusky does hold that title. I was just speaking with that already understood.

Not enough. Close down the football program until 15 years after Sandusky dies. Pedophiles and those that protect them should both have the same punishment.

and Theo Poser*, but where do you draw the line? Punish the innocents WHO TRULY HAD NOTHING to do with this? If you have been reading my comments around the Editorial cartoons since this happened, this is part of the COLLATERAL DAMAGE I am talking about. Imagine, a handful of people have changed so many things for a very long time, for innocent people, and to top it off, instead of fining Penn State 60 Mil to be put into abuse centers across the country, they should have ORDERED this money be divided amongst the KNOWN victims who were brave enough to testify in court. I am certain those brave souls weren’t the only victims, and I hope JERRY ROTS IN HELL!

The players still have their memoribilia, experiences, network(s), and pro careers, depending on what happened after they left the program.

Current players are allowed to transfer without penalty.

psu put football, wins, bowls, national championship before kids. he raped those kids and everyone covered it up. if you really care about psu football, donate money or time to child abuse preventation charity. players wanted to win and get drafted to the nfl, everyone wanted joepa to be the winningest coach, admin wanted the money. and jerry was raping boys.
