Here’s an idea. Instead of burning books like Nazis, just make lots and lots of drawings of Mohammed. That’s using the 1st amendment properly.

^Yep, fennec, I posted that earlier. I’ve been reading it for a while now, and it is really funny.

Muslims do it already. They didn’t need this idiot to trigger it. Besides, what does it say about a “reasonable, moderate” people that they’ll explode in violent anger when some idiot burns their holy books, or simply draw their prophet?

MR. CANUCK: Can you explain your definition of “exploding in violent behavior”? My definition includes things like blowing people and buildings up. Yours seems to include writing things anonymously in cartoon blogs. I think we have a disconnect.

churchi…, how about the Christian in Kansas who assassinated a doctor right there in his church? D’ya think that counts as “exploding in violent behavior”?

…disregarding the inane “commentaries” above, this is an excellent cartoon and captures the essence of the problem.

    EDRUSH: Why don’t you re-read DR.C’s post:

“[What does it say] about the “reasonable moderate” Christians on these posts that explode in violent anger”.

Is/was that assassin in Kansas “on these posts”? Do you see “explosions of violent anger on these posts”?

Nevertheless, that’s a poor analogy anyway. For one thing, that nut targeted on specific Doctor. He didn’t indiscriminately blow up innocent people. People didn’t celebrate in the street afterward. He was universally condemned. And he is serving life in prison, not recruiting followers to follow in his footsteps. Any more questions?
