For more than two decades, political cartoonist Steve Kelley has devoted his attention to public officials the way the radiator grille of a tractor-trailer might devote its attention to June bugs. He has delighted readers by consistently consigning office-holders to the one fate they fear most: that of not being taken seriously.

Thank you, Ronald Reagan, for “getting government off the backs of big business” and removing all regulations so they could victimize us properly.

You can thank Bill Clinton for his drive drive to increase home ownership. Which over-inflated the housing market, which prompted unwise investment in said market, which – well it ended up being a Ponzi scheme.

Actually, the push for home owership goes all the way back to the 50’s: a house, white picket fence, car in the garage etc. One of the problems with home ownership is a lack of mobility. If you want to get a job in a distant location that house is an anchor. Some of the unemployment problems have been seriously worsened by the inability of people to move to where the jobs in their field are located. I remember the last time my wife and I moved and how relieved we were when the house sold.

^ I know what you mean, I can only push my shopping cart until the sidewalks run out. Just no way to get to Bakersfield.

Gullible people get ripped off all the time, then they turn to the Democrats who will rip them off again and bankrupt the nation in the process.
They may put one dollar in your pocket but take $100 back for each dollar you get.
