    TRUIST said “Done half their jobs!
    The way it works is the House “sends” their bill to the Senate they submit their revisions and send it back…”

    You are only half right. The Senate Majority Leader (Harry Reid) has the option of “tabling” (or “shelving”) the Legislation and never revising or voting on it, so it never gets sent back to the House. This is Reid’s Modus Operandi..

    If they are crap Bills there will be no problem defeating them in the Senate. So let them vote! But Harry Reid doesn’t allow them the vote because a) He is Obama’s lapdog, b) He is afraid of the outcome/it may have more support than he’d prefer, even in a losing effort, and that’s bad for his business, c) He’s trying to protect fellow Democrats that would suffer the ire of their constituents once they see how they voted, and d) He’s an obstructionist.

    You are correct. By the next election the tea party types will have taken the Republican Party apart so much that your hated Democrats will have taken over, and then if she wishes, and her health holds out, can you say Madam President Clinton? I am certain that this will make you so very happy!!

    @Robert Landers

    Conversely, you status-quo types (aka Dem Lite) who insist on voting for people who will not fight for the principles you SAY you hold are part of the problem. Read your history, Whig Party to be exact in the 1850’s and how come they are not about any more. History DOES repeat itself. Comes down to a party that wouldn’t fight for it’s members beliefs disappeared because the members founded something better… Republicans. Now the Reps (party of stupid) are following in their footsteps and will be replaced yet again. The spineless and unprincipled have no place in the public arena.
