You gotta give him credit for forcing politicians to hold to an oath for longer than a single election cycle. But you gotta fault him for being ignorant about economics.

@Chillbilly
He’s not ignorant about economics. He’s a paid hatchet man for the Koch brothers.

Good lord, has the Republican Party finally woken up?

Willard lost the election, but it was really Grover who’s dreams were dashed. Before the election, Grover stated many times that the only skill they, the Pledge signers, needed in a president was the manual dexterity to sign legislation that the Republican Congress would send him.
-
Grover believed, and I do too, to a significant extent, that had Romney been elected, that Grover would be the real power behind the throne.
-
I am glad that Obama was reelected, but not euphoric. However, I am profoundly relieved that Romney/Norquist was not.

Grover wouldn’t sign that, Republicans never admit to culpability.

Agreed. Norquist said, on several occasions, that the Republicans didn’t need a president; all they needed was a hand to hold the pen and sign things. Romney would have been that hand (and Ryan would have been the hatchetman).
