Republicans haven’t taken the foot off since Reagan, in any state, public or private sector unions.

Nonsense, Magnaut. The issue here isn’t the money, which the unions have already compromised on; the governor is trying to remove the right to collective bargaining! FoxNews reported this in reverse, but 61% of Americans favor keeping these rights. Did you not hear about the prank caller? A guy claiming to be billionaire Tea-Party-funder Koch called the the Governor. Now, he won’t take calls from the state minority leader, but he took this call without question and was quite frank about his attempts to trick the Democrats into coming in to talk and then quickly convening a session: “My sense is, hell. I’ll talk. If they want to yell at me for an hour, I’m used to that. I can deal with that. But I’m not negotiating.” When the fake Koch said “Well, I tell you what, Scott: once you crush these bastards I’ll fly you out to Cali and really show you a good time,” the response was: “All right, that would be outstanding.” So let’s look at the facts: the Republican governor will take a call instantly from someone claiming to be an out-of-state billionaire, but won’t talk to the duly elected Democratic representatives of his own constituency. He is explicitly trying to break the unions, and he’s lying about it (he isn’t saying “collective bargaining,” but that’s the ONLY obstacle. And he’s stupid. Enough for you?

^ You don’t know how radio works. A producer or screener familiar with the Koch name put the caller through. The Governor had nothing to do with it. And I don’t see that he said anything inappropriate, either.

^Radio? Radio? This was a call to his office. Didn’t do your homework as of this point, church. And clearly you haven’t read the whole transcript.
