GIVE IT A REST!!! Stop making money on this kind of tragedy. This is a sequela of Afghanistan.

The coffin of anyone who dies from a gun in America is hard to look at. Gun nuts say guns don’t kill people, well nuts with guns do.

Haven’t seen one newspaper even HINT that Islamic terrorism or Islamic beliefs were involved.
Even my local paper just said “SHOOTER GUNS DOWN SOLDIERS AT FORT HOOD”.
Yet every time ONE mass-murdering abortionist has been killed, every newspaper and reporter involved lableled the gunman as being a “Christian”…
You lying Lefties deserve all the Hell you eventually get.

HOWGOZIT, you really don’t know the first thing about what forces got or kept this “gent” in the service. But feel free to espouse your opinions as “facts” to your heart’s content.

oldlegodad, quit spamming us with this BS. “Jihadist traitor?” They know next to nothing about this guy, and are building a whole conspiracy around him. He’s a nutjob, pure and simple. Had he said he was supported by the Christian God, would you root out all the Christians? Sheesh.

That’s all you lying lefties can ever say. “HAD he been a Christian.”
The worst “crime” you can pin on any “Christian” anywhere in the entire post-modern era is a tiny amount of men who offed abortion doctors, who themselves had already wracked up a body-count higher than any convicted mass murderer.
We got 1500 solid, uninterrupted YEARS of Islam doing nothing but conquering and killing and enslaving people. Wheras you Lefties always have to twist and contort to find a few secular-minded government types from old medieval churches to try and make the case that Christianity behaved the same way.
As any HONEST Historian could point out (and in pretty much every History book written prior to 1968, they DID), “The Muslims started the Crusades so the Christians finished them.” All of Europe was the target of Muslims for century after century, after Islam forcibly marched through Africa and the Middle East virtually unopposed, mass-slaughtering everyone in their path. “Convert or die!” But liars like you will demonize the Spanish for kicking their tails back to Camel City, ignoring the fact there would be no Western World at all if Islam had its way.
The fact peopel like you consistently demonize Christianity while defending Islam speaks volumes. “By their fruits you will know them.”
I still say John Adams would spit in your face, Magus… your beliefs and sentiments would be as alien to his ears as anything he ever heard from primitive savages. :/
And oldle’s linked article provided you with a LOT of examples forming an obvious pattern anyway, as if 1500 years of Islamic madness wasn’t already enough…

That muslim book koran should be examined and proven whether it is religious devotion or hatred murderous propaganda. Seriously.

comYics, I’d hazard an educated guess that both the Koran and the Christian Bible have been thoroughly studied for either of what you ask for. Their interpretations are what should be examined. Seriously.
motivemagus said, 12 days ago
Well, I’m not the expert here, and so far no one here who has posted is, but if you read your Bible, you will find that when the Hebrews reached the Promised Land, they exterminated everyone who lived there, man, woman, and child, without exception, claiming God’s will in doing so. For those taking their Bible literally, that suggests the Israeli are still entitled to wipe out anyone in their path. Should they? Of course not. Would most modern Jews take that as their view? I hope not!
I suggest that very few religions of any complexity and duration are as simplistic as you are making Islam to be. “1500 years of Islamic madness,” indeed? How about 1500 years of Christian madness? Manifest Destiny? Forced conversion by St. Olaf and the conquistadores? Heck, even Buddhism – theoretically the least proactive religion, since the objective is to become nothing – led to the Buddhist samurai, who were hardly pacifists!
I am simply not willing to demonize all practitioners of Islam without applying some judgment, regardless of my personal feelings regarding some of the tenets of Islam. Go read the words of Jesus on loving your enemy, and then let’s talk.
And QUIT CALLING ME A LIAR, you schmuck! You have no reason to do so, and it’s merely inflammatory.
comYics said, 11 days ago
I agree omQ R that interpretations and those teaching them should be examined? If you have read either of them omQ R, it is easy to find in the koran, statements teaching followers of the koran to cut heads off of those that dont believe in that koran. Those terrorist belief in the koran is so strong that many of them are willing to kill and die for it, is obvious that telling muslims to cut off heads of infedels is a problem. Telling people to go out and kill other people, encouraging it, and telling them it is law, is not a peaceful way of resolving issues. Otherwise it would be okay to go murder.
comYics said, 11 days ago
motivemagus,
My comment said to examine the koran to find its tipping points that some terrorists have been using as an excuse to kill, to stop the killing.
1500 years of islam? Speaking with, and friends with a Saudi muslim, said that the koran was written in 600ad.
I have met many that believe in the muslim ways and havnt found them offensive, even enjoying listening to christian music. Though the terreristic kind have been obviously misinturrpreting some of its text, and I believe clearing that misinturrpretation will solve some of their aggressive intents twords those that dont follow their koran way of thinking. If it happens to be that that koran is telling them to go out and kill and offering 72 virgins as a reward, then that book is not about Love and peace, simply murderous hatred.
motivemagus, if God calls you a liar, then I call you a liar, if God says you arent lying, then I say you arent lying.
comYics said, 11 days ago
I havent read much of St Olaf, I have read The Bible, and The Bible teaches us to Love one another. Love is not about forcing one to convert or believe, if some reject God, then God will leave them.
eaglesofwar said, 11 days ago
Another prime example of how well the government does with their social acceptance.
They let a terrorists become a Army psychiatrist and then wonder why Maj. Nidal Malik Hassan would kill his fellow soldiers.
motivemagus said, 11 days ago
comYics, I was responding more to scott; should have made that clear. I repeated his “1500 years,” and knew better; I should have corrected that myself. And scott called me a liar. How you’re going to know if God calls me a liar, I have no idea.
And historically, many human beings have felt no shame about forcing people to “convert or die,” regardless of what God might say about it.
dtroutma said, 11 days ago
Motive, not to nitpik, but I believe the samurai were mostly/actually Shinto- and the Emperor was worshipped.
If the Jews really are the “anointed ones”– why are there only 15 million, with 1.5 billion Christians, 1.5 billion Muslim, and depending on how you count, the same rough number of Buddhists. In fact Shinto and Judaism are about the same in number.
INsanity, obviously far exceeds sanity in this nation, so maybe we need more shrinks than guns?
