    The US has already destroyed the ISIS (it’s now just IS, so it’s lost IS; remember, if an item is on sale for half-price, it’s free, since you pay half with the half you just saved).

    Re the quote ‘We don’t have a strategy’: there’s a YouTube of one full minute of repeating the clip, ‘We don’t have a strategy,’ on yesterday’s Mike Lester by someone named mlester101.

    Anyway, Obama, having ordered the Pentagon not to bomb his BFFs in Iraq, while the Pentagon, which would never listen to a Kenyan born on the Kenyan island of Oahu and which has been keeping us all safe since they rejected the oversight of any government headed by a Muslim terrorist since 2009, has bombed the ISIS in Iraq until it was destroyed. Now the Pentagon wants to bomb the IS in Syria, and Obama still hasn’t decided on his strategy for stopping them from bombing even MORE of his BFFs in Syria. (Note that the US is paying IS in Syria to destroy the evil al-Assad regime, a secular regime that had no qualms about allying itself with the atheists in the USSR, and so MUST be destroyed. In addition to which, Saudi has paid generous baksheesh to the US to eradicate most Syrians and hand that bit of the Fertile Crescent over to the King of Saudi Arabia as his personal garden, and since he’s already paid in full, the US has the solemn obligation to do what he’s paid us to do.)

    Again, philosophy with no practical application.

    But he does have a plan. We have to be Believers to be Leaders. Global Warming is the greatest threat to his presidency! His Obamacare is a FAILURE so now he must focus in on making the USA an Example of how to bankrupt it self by being Believers in Gorbull Warming! “Deniers” are evil with R next to the name, at least that is what he told the future in warfare at West Point.

    Don’t have a specific strategy for a specific problem so rather than cobbling one together some forethought will be involved.
    Personally I like that approach better than going to war with the military you have rather than the one you’d like to have.

    How did Nero play a “fiddle” when the instrument was not invented until the 1500s?

    @Newenglandah

    Nero played a stringed instrument known as the Cithara in the lyre family.

    Given that if the US gets involved we’ll wind up owning half Iraq and half of Syria, isn’t it the smart move to let our enemies beat each other into submission BEFORE we jump in? Just asking.

    Let’s be honest folks; No matter WHAT Obama does, you are gonna diss him. He doesn’t go in – he’s a coward or blah blah blah; He does go in – he’s getting “us” back into another war blah blah blah.
    Aren’t you getting just a little tired of your hypocrisies? Everybody else is!

    Wrong, They plan on flying the flag over the white house, some say with as many “advisers” as Obama has that are of the Muslim brotherhood, that they have already succeeded.

    Bombing isn’t a strategy? What is it, a tactic? Are we dealing with semantics here? May I believe you peeps so ready to put American troops back in Harm’s Way have been there a few times yourselves?

    Let’s not be talk radio warmongers, eh? It’s not ANY strategy that’s wanted, it’s the right one, and the right strategies in the Middle East — have you noticed? — don’t grow on loquat trees.

    Geee… We do not have a strategy where the events and even the players themselves change almost overnight all the time in the Middle East. Personally, I like a president who is not getting literally hundreds of thousands of our young and best involved, and eventually getting thousands of them killed, and tens of thousands wounded!

    Another thing that amazes me, is all of the ranting by the same ultra conservative types that seem to want us to get into another multiple $trillion dollar war in this very volatile area. What happened to all of your anti tax principles when that happens?

    It’s not called “forethought” if you go buy the fire extinguisher WHILE the fire’s burning.
