Actually, the powers that be in the G.O.P. won’t allow Christie to be the candidate, since he has shown an ability from time to time to work across the aisle for the good of the people, AND he will listen to the courts, and not insist that he is right ALL the time.

“It’ll be blimpy Hillary and big Christie in the fightout.”

Then there will be no reason not to vote for a third-party candidate. There is no difference between Hillary and Christie.

    All things Barry never does.
So I take it you’re gonna vote for Christie in 2016!
    Good call.

The frontrunners 3 years before the election are targets, and everyone and everything will be shooting at them.

In 1972, and from 1980 – 1991, the Democrats couldn’t nominate anyone who could possibly be elected. From ‘92 until ’12, both parties put up credible candidates, and the races were close, with no candidate achieving a big majority (I can’t say that all the VEEP candidates were credible, though).

Best guess: Billary is too old (just look at them on TV). Christie will have a hard time getting the nomination (like Huntsman, who seemed very well qualified on paper, except for the pieces of paper used for nomination ballots).

Besides, no one likes people who are too popular.

The 1955 Chevy was not the lemon that obamascare is. It should be an Edsel.

Obamacare will be fixed by December 2013. Christie will still be a teabagger in 2016.

    .
Christie would be good for the Republicans because it will be difficult for the left leaning media to demonize him (not that they won’t give their best effort at disinformation.

Rudy , Rudy , Rudy! I doubt seriously he would run , but I’m ready for something different – maybe it is time for a third party win?

That’s what I thought about Herman Cain.
