She’s just worried about the incoming torpedo of the investigation of her campaign financing!
That, and she’s probably gotten a MUCH more lucrative offer from FAUX Noi$e to be another “Political Expert” commentator for them!

Interesting. The original ta party was a group of criminals that vandalized the cargo of ships in the harbor. Disguised as the natives so as not to get the blame. Not unlike a C-PAC.

One man’s criminals is another man’s patriots. We look back at the actions of the colonists responding to the greed of the crown with pride in our individualism and, our willingness to work together as a United people to express that frustration.
The tea party, like the Rs and Ds, are painted with a broad brush that only sees the most extreme members. There are many good, civil, and friendly people who believe in most of the principles set forth by the tea party, and who, like many of us, no longer see the Rs and Ds as responsive to our nation’s needs.
I doubt if anyone other than seamen from Britain were fooled by the make up and outfits. Our ancestors could name the tribe to which a native american belonged by their hair, clothes, and accoutrements.

History – at least according to some sources – does tell us that one of Ben Franklin’s more fundamental attentions was usually devoted to “Mistresses”. And, in the end, just WHO determines the “virtuousness” of nations – or anything else for that matter?

    @Respectful Troll,
Well, one might say: “Would that it were true”, at least insofar as your comment concerning the Tea Party being “painted with a broad brush”. But, I’m afraid that’s blinking the reality too much, as repeated illustrations from many sources have shown for some time.

North Carolina, Louisiana, Mississippi, just 3 States where the Tea Party dominates the Legislature; and has proved itself to be . . . considerably LESS than touted, as some form of “non-invasive government”. In the past few weeks – notably, this May 26th week – the Internet edition of “The National Memo” has printed lists of the LAWS passed by the Legislatures down in these Swamps, everyone of which is so much more INVASIVE of individual rights than anything currently even thought of on Federal levels that, these Statutes are sickening to anyone who believes in the fundamentals of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

I cite this May 26th week, because of the Law, passed in Mississippi, that currently CRIMINALIZES a woman’s miscarriage, if she knowingly does not follow the dictates of whatever Chiroquackter- or other witch-doctor – who thinks she should not eat, or drink, something during pregnancy.

And, I will pass over in silence some of the other stupidities perpetrated elsewhere in the Swamps, by those other Tea Party dominated Legislatures. EXCEPT for the Statute, from the Legislature in North Carolina, “nullifying” the 1st Amendment, and any and all US Supreme Court rulings thereunto pertaining, in favor of a STATE ESTABLISHED RELIGION for North Carolina – presumably some one of the more flagrant cults of superstitious ignorance, and arrogantly stubborn stupidity, that bang a thousands of years old mythology book, and bray about their being “Christian”.

Anyone who thinks – or imagines/fantasizes – the Tea Party crackpots to be “against government interference/regulation/etc.”, should really go to the Internet, and read the FACTS!!!!!

I agree with Masterskrain, that she’s just another selfish opportunist cashing in on the lucrative media market catering to whipping the right-wing fringe into a constant state of hateful froth. In her Congressional “career” she sponsored just one bill, and spent the rest of her time spewing whacko conspiracies. Assigning that wrecker to head the Intelligence Committee was just another clear indicator of the Republican Party’s intention to obstruct anything done by the Obama Administration, regardless of any harm to the country as a result. Their goal is to obstruct, not govern, and when Michele was finally revealed for the willful tool she is, she bailed before being thrown out at the ballot box in the reddest of red districts. Enough of her kind.

In her quitting speech, Ms. Bachmann said that it was the cover-up that caused the death of the 4 Americans at Benghazi. Really? Not the terrorists? An event that allegedly happened after the killings caused the killings? How psychotic is this woman?

The Tea Party is an agenda-furthering tool of the Koch brothers – only it’s members are unaware of that. http://uprisingradio.org/home/2013/05/30/firedoglake-tea-party-ties-to-koch-brothers-ignored-in-irs-scandal/

Most of its platform consists of removal of the parts of gov’t that keep the public safe from corporate exploitation – it is phrased in such a way as to taste sweet to the common man.
    1) Repeal Obamacare; Pursue Patient-Centered Care
    2) Stop the Tax Hikes
    3) Reverse Obama’s Spending Increases
    4) Scrap the Code; Replace It with a Flat Tax
    5) Pass a Balanced Budget Amendment
    6) Reject Cap and Trade
    7) Rein in the EPA
    8) Unleash America’s Vast Energy Potential
    9) Eliminate the Department of Education
    10) Reduce the Bloated Federal Workforce
    11) Curtail Excessive Federal Regulation
    12) Audit the Fed

All of these proposals aid businesses and hurt citizens.

The lunatics didn’t “take over” the Tea Party. It was a gaggle of lunatics that FORMED AND FOUNDED the Tea Party.
