The president should put his hand on a copy of the constitution and the bill of rights, not some sordid book of superstition.

I wonder if Bensen would have drawn a cartoon with a donkey standing there if Mittens had been elected.

“I wonder if Bensen would have drawn a cartoon with a donkey standing there if Mittens had been elected.”
Probably not. They didn’t obstruct when shrubster and cheney were appointed to the White House by SCOTUS. Much to their eternal shame.

Usually a lame duck president isn’t a threat. Not this time. He has 4 more years to push his socialist policies and isn’t going to hesitate to use executive order to shove them down our throats.

“Fourth – you wanna talk executive orders, let’s go back to shrub … on the other hand, let’s not … he was an idiot too.”
You are including Obama as an idiot by the way you write the sentence. Using the word “too” is an inclusive reference. You shouldn’t let Ima get you so riled up, that’s his stated purpose if you haven’t figured it out.

Gee, someone strike a nerve there? Well, Mr. Ima says some off the wall stuff but YOU my my what a show of vitriol.
Since the first two points are just your opinion (well lame duck being a stupid term anyway) I’ll just start with the third.
You childish name calling is so edifying. “Rethuglicans” indeed. Kind of gives us insight into the maturity of the poster don’cha think?
Most of us have a clue concerning the difference between the four examples you mention. An economic theory (socialism), a political/economic theory (communism) and two political means to govern (fascism or total government control and democracy which is total control by the population). You forgot to mention the type of government in the US which is a “democratic republic”.
Of course we could all emulate one of your heroes – Big Al Gore – who is so full of generosity that he would sell his company for a tidy profit to those that are funded by his avowed enemy (big oil). No greedy Democrat there.
Yes yes, your democrat leaders are all just wonderful examples when it comes to generosity.
Even if I do happen to agree with the point of that potion of your rant. Punish those that break the law and focus on those that provide sanctuary in the work place in order to increase profit.
Please, control your temper. You give your liberal companions a bad name.

Enjoyed reading you slap “Mr.” Ima around.

Today and Monday will be tough on the pea-brained myopic conservatives who post here.

I know how miserable I would feel if King and Queen Romney were center stage.

I wonder if you really care about that oath Mr president. Will you think about it and abide by it?
Here let me remind all of us what you are going to swear to do.
Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:—“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
Will you honor your oath?

I believe Obstructionism was an official policy decree by the Republicans, who kept their members in line no matter what the consequences to their constituents and nation.
.
It’s also too bad about the nastiness it’s fomented on both sides – all evident in these posts.

They were nasty people to start with. We need to stand up against them and make them stop ruining the nation.

He’s swearing to uphold the Constitution; he should be doing so with his hand on whatever’s important enough to him personally to convince him that breaking his oath is unthinkable. I don’t want to dictate what that might be.
Gresch said, 4 months ago
Let’s see if the CJ of the SCOTUS screws up the oath and has to do it in private again…
