   Thank GOD that senile old poop didn’t win, because the stress of actually being President would have killed him 2 years into the term, and we would have had to endure having (SHUDDER) Klondike Barbie as President!

   She probably only quit because of the ethics investigations the state was conducting on her, not because she didn’t think she could handle the job.

   I guess a cartoonist would know all the reasons whether or not Hagel would make a good Secretary of Defense better than a person who was a very close personal friend of his.

    With Obama have zero end to Afghanistan. (we will have ‘Support Troops’ there for years to come just as we still have ‘Support Troops’ in Korea and Germany. ow many years has it been since we signed armistices with both Germany and Korea?

    The ethics investigation, whose panel was majority Republican, found that the governor had improperly delegated responsibilities to “First Dude”, and that she had taken advantage of state transportation (airplane travel) for personal family use. I’m pretty sure she had to re-imburse the state for the travel expenses. At that point she announced that she was resigning because it was “causing too much of a distraction” to the people of Alaska, and declared victory. I don’t believe Troopergate was ever adjudicated.
