If she says that a video caused the attack on 9/11, she must be telling the truth according to O!

Where were these guys when Colin Powell was telling the UN Iraq had WMDs?
Probably out buying stock in Remington, Colt, Boeing and General Dynamics…

But their lies are to be forgiven. Misinformation by the left, not lies but merely incorrect information deemed credible is grounds for exactly what you see going on, mindless political posturing designed to draw attention away from the reTHUGlicans’ failure to address the nations’ more pressing problems. When their chosen ones lie, they keep quiet or make something up about the other side. But when the Democrats make a mistake, not even outright lying, just a mistake they blow it all out of proportion, that’s what their radical RWNJ base expects.
You have to understand that double standards are the ONLY standards the republicans have. Not to mention that the truth and facts will never get in the way of the republican agenda.

That makes more sense than anything I have heard lately.
This is just Secretary of State, wait till President Obama nominates another Supreme Court Justice.

Doesn’t it seem strange that the repugs are making a big deal about this non-issue, threatening to block her nomination presumably by filibuster or anonymous hold, while at the same time the senate is considering reforming the filibuster rules? It appears that the repubs are giving a prime reason to end the filibuster as we know it.

Could’ve used some of these high-quality witch hunts during the run up to the Iraq war.

Mainly because they are still peeved that their “Golden Boy” Romney got his butt handed to him in the election!
You thought McConnell and the boner were stubborn, intractable, and obstructionist BEFORE, just wait for the NEXT 4 years!
Absolutely NOTHING Obama supports will make it past those two idiots without a HUGE fight, so less and less will get done, and the "Con"gress will accomplish even less then it did the last 4 years.
Although, this might be a good thing, since it seems that the less "Con"gress gets done, the less damage they manage to do!

Prove that the “chosen ones” lied.
It’’s time for you to pony up on all your casual comments repeated over and over and over and over and over and over.
-
You made the claim that they lied, now I want to see what evidence it’s based on.

I notice that you can’t refute the comment, so you attack the person.

There is a theory gaining ground in the ether of media and internet news suggesting McCain, Ayodette, Collins, and Graham don’t believe Ms. Rice is guilty of anything that hasn’t been done before by others representing the “truth” as provided to them. They remember Condoleeza and Powell giving false information based on what was “known” at the time.
The four people I mention above have all said Ms. S. Rice is not suitable for Sec of State, but Senator Kerry of Mass. would be. If Kerry became Sec of State, Scott Brown, a man for who McCain, Ayodette, and Collins campaigned in the last election, would have a chance to run for senate again and possibly further reduce the Dem majority in that body.
There is no reason to punish Ms. Rice based on all reports. No one is demanding for the current Sec of State, Ms. Clinton, to testify. They haven’t called for more CIA personnel to defend the decision on what talking points to provide to Ms. Rice.
This is a necessary distraction. Necessary in that we need to know what can be done in the future to protect our ambassadors, a distraction in that the Republicans are focusing on a person following orders from the CIA instead of fast tracking the funds that were supposed to have been used to upgrade security at locations world wide. A necessity in order to improve operation, but a distraction as it keeps these people from having to talk about what they are going to do to get us through the next few years.
This attack on Ms. S. Rice is a political game to affect the senate of the USA.
And Howgozit, I doubt you can find a history of any administration where the American People were not decieved “for their own good and the good of the country” by the executive, or the legislative branch of office.
Too many believe the ends justify the means. I think trolls must be the same way.
In Virginia Beach, you can drive on Witch Duck Road. Legend says the original road went down to the river where “witches” were drowned to prove they weren’t witches. McCain is drowning Rice’s career in order to play political games. It is not honorable, ethical, or moral.
Maybe you feel it is ok since “Libs” do it too, or even "first.‘, Doesn’t matter. it’s still wrong.
Respectfully,
C.

Perhaps McCain is also struggling to remain in the least bit relevant to American Politics, since he knows that the fate for most failed Presidential Candidates is eventual obscurity, as they fade into the sunset…

How do you know that it is innocent “misinformation” and not “lies”?
Prove it.

Obama said in the debate that he called it an act of terrorism in the Rose Garden the day after the attack. (He didn’t actually do that – he just said something about “we won’t allow attacks of terrorism” and then later tried to link it to Benghazi. BUT, if you believe him, then it WAS an act of terrorism and he KNEW it at the time.) But Rice went on 5 Sunday news shows AFTER he said it was an act of terrorism, saying it was “all about the video”

It looks like people are arguing that Rice shouldn’t be held accountable for not knowing what she was talking about because nobody else in the administration knew what they were talking about either.
That merely highlights Obama’s incompetence.

Your very question of my position demonstrates how conveniently you ignore reality, facts and the truth. It has been long established that the bushy admin KNEW that what Mr. Powell was telling the UN and the nation was false. It has long been established that the bushy admin had credible, substantiated evidence that Iraq was not linked to al qaeda or the 9/11 attacks. It has long been established that the bushy admin had credible, substantiated evidence that Iraq did not have WMDs, but king George and his cohorts ignored the facts that did not support his desire to invade Iraq. And anyone who dared to question him was labeled as unpatriotic. What was the saying, “If you aren’t with us you ‘re against us?” But evidently you chose not to accept this reality, you ignore these truths and then dare challenge me for asserting these very facts. And you have called me out before for attacking others and presented yourself as the morally superior because I call people on their lies and I expect others to base their posts and opinions on facts, not fantasy. This is not fantasy this is established fact, except for those to whom it is inconvenient to acknowledge. Then they resort to what apparently is the republican play book,
1) LIE!
2) Obfuscate
3)Change the subject and distract from reality
4) If all else fails resort to #1 again.
Since you claim that you do not do #1, I would say you have tried #2 & #3. Please, you are better than this, I think. But so far you are proving me wrong.
