   And I’m watching the Opening Ceremonies. Hopefully NBC will show on the DVD what went on when the commercials aired on the Network. They didn’t in their DVD coverage of the 2008 Games, and I was disappointed.

   I didn’t watch it, but i read on the BBC website that the Queen played herself in a movie clip that was shown during the opening. Impressive! To get a reigning monarch (well, in a sense) to take part in such a project is quite a feather in the cap of the organizing committee, bravo!

   Amazing how they managed to pull a “mitt” by insulting every nation we’ve ever had a gripe with, or that’s had “problems”. It was rather disgusting after a very short while, then praise for a country that regularly betrays us by selling secets, and getting us into war on their behalf.
