It’s really hard to be a real idiot, so I guess Beck wasn’t just kidding. I think Beck IS the one who is the racist, considering that Obama’s mother was white, and that his {white} grandparents stepped in when his mother became ill.

“Fox News Channel commentator Glenn Beck said he believes President Barack Obama is a racist. Beck made the statement during a guest appearance Tuesday on the ‘Fox & Friends’ morning show. He said Obama has exposed himself as a person with ‘a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture.’” - AP, July 29

He’s posing quite a dilemma for CNN, which tries to promote itself as the unbiased news source. See http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/08/02/lou-dobbs-a-publicity-nign249466.html And what’s weirdest, IMO, is that there are millions of people out there willing to believe anything that clowns like Dobbs have to say. Fewer than half of the Republicans now believe that Barack Obama was born in the US, despite lots of proof to the contrary, according to http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/07/31/new-poll-less-than-half-on248470.html

CNN is NOT a liberal source. I was watching Dobbs for some time and thought he’d mellowed toward the center, the last couple months, that is clearly NOT the case. It’s just “Fox light”.

The fact that he has a white parent and white grandparents does not stop the harsh comments about them. Look at how many white/black mixed children are brought up in a “black” way with no respect or consideration for the “white” aspect of their being. It is a shame, too. They need to be brought up to respect both races because they are both races.

There is over 9 million web sits that have Obama and racist combination. Here is some information on the Gates incident.
Imagine if the role were reversed and it was Bruce Willis treating an African American cop like this? Would Obama take up for Bruce Willis?

When Sgt. Crowley investigated a possible burglary at Prof. Gates’ Cambridge home this week, Gates met a white cop at his door and evidently assumed Crowley was a bad cop, a rogue, a racist cop who would treat him differently than any other suspected perp, just because he was black. That’s racism, folks! What did Gates do when faced with a police officer investigating a burglary in his home? Was Gates polite and courteous to the cop? Did he cooperate and step onto the porch out of the darkened home so Crowley could see his face and ID? Did he calmly explain why a passerby saw him breaking in, if, in fact, it was his own house? Did he speak or act like the esteemed scholar and professor his ID claimed him to be?
Nope. He was belligerent, accusatory, uncooperative, irrational and defamatory, throwing racial slurs at the white officer, even insulting the cop’s mother (as in, “Yo momma is so…”). If ever a man did NOT act with Harvard professorial dignity and decorum, if ever a black man acted like a thug from the ‘hood, Gates did. Is it any wonder Officer Crowley asked for more ID, one that actually listed that house as his address, or asked for another person to corroborate Gates’ identity? I would, wouldn’t you?
And when Gates refused, and became so incensed and insulting to the Sergeant who was there to protect his property that a crowd grew around his house, was Crowley supposed to allow this kind of behavior, just because Gates was black? No. He arrested Gates for disorderly conduct, as he was trained to do. Last time I checked, police arrest people regardless of race when they act like crazy people in the presence of peace officers.
So why is President Obama a racist? Because he, like his friend Gates, automatically assumed the white police officer “acted stupidly.” BO assumed it was the white officer’s fault, because, of course, we all know white cops are racist, right? And later, when he slightly retracted his statement, he still felt the need to say, “It would have been better if cooler heads had prevailed.” By now he knew the facts, that his friend Gates had lost his mind and acted like a fool, but he assumed that Sgt. Crowley similarly lost it and “got all up” in Gates’ face, because, of course, that’s what all white cops do.
But this white cop didn’t, because he’s not just any cop, he is an expert at managing racial incidents just like this one became, because of Gates’ racism. Friends and fellow officers of all races say Sgt. James Crowley is calm and reliable in situations racially hostile sites, because he was hand-picked by a black police commissioner to teach recruits how to avoid racial profiling, and Crowley has apparently been doing a stellar job at it for 5 years.
But Gates and our esteemed president didn’t know that, did they?
So, who are the racists in this story? Gates accused a decent, decorated, above-reproach police officer of being a racist rogue cop, just because he was white. What did our esteemed “black” president do? He immediately took Gates’ side, because he’s a friend and black! Um, Mr. President, I thought you were going to help erase the racial lines that divide us? Shame on you for taking sides on something you admitted you knew nothing about, for commenting nationally on a small, local issue well beneath your pay grade, and for showing us all that you are not that different that the racist Gates who believes all white cops are bad cops, just because of their skin color.

I’d like to say STRIPER, that if CRAZY was a crime, you and your Republicans would be doing life.
They often put the worst offender in charge of teaching race relations, because then they have to learn it, to teach it. And they wont have an excuse when they get fired. If Barack made a mistake, well everyone does. Bush made a life long commitment to them. 400 years of having it the other way, entitles him to lean that way. So stop your crying. That Cop will live, and maybe next time he’ll find out who he’s talking to before dragging people out of their house, which is constitutionally protected.
AND WHAT IF, black cops were pulling rich white people out of their house. Jezzzzzzzzzzzz
And poor Bruce Willis who was driving drunk and calling everyone a Jew. I dont think I would have brought up his name in this conversation. is it your contention that Barack should be sticking up for drunk drivers ?
Must we have to prove to any cop that ask, that we live in the house that we live in, and show papers with notoriety and ID ?

  32. striper77

    striper77 said, 3 months ago

    Senorbullwinkle,
Please explain your 400 years of having it the other way.
I believe the USA has been around for a little more than 200 years.
At some point they went to Africa and purchased captured Africans that were going to be killed and brought them back to America as slaves.
Some were treated good and some bad. I believe their was the civil war brought on by various items and one was to free the slaves.
I personally do not approve of fellow humans being slaves and the African American community may have had it bad until 1970. So did most of the American population. If your review your history it was hard work and long days for most of the population.
From 1970 on up an African American will be hired over a male Caucasian at all government jobs and large companies. I have seen job announcements that stated if you are African American or Latino please apply. These were for state and federal jobs. Can you imagine if their was a job announcement that stated male Caucasian please apply? I have yet to see one.
I can go into further definition of this, but I am sure you and most others know this.

What part of being owned is the good part ? And would you like to be owned ? How about your mother and Children, would mind them being owned ? By Good Black people ? And slaves should be grateful that we owned their life FOR life, and could kill them or beat them at will. Yes the wonderful life of slavery.
Why didn’t we enslave Europe after the first or second war, after all they were going to be killed.
A black man was valued as a mule .
Now you were saying how you wouldn’t mind being a slave….

    Senorbullwinkle,

Of course I know we belonged to England and the reasons why people left England to come here.

I read some of the web site and what I found interesting was Slavery started with the Muslims.

I also learned that slavery in the new world also included Caucasians and Native Americans.

I guess it is not just a black thing.

    Senorbullwinkle,

As I stated, I do not approve of slavery.

I never stated I wanted to be a slave.

But, from your web sites that you left.

Slavery has been around as far back as recorded time goes. Unfortunately people have always bought people from Africa but other countries would capture people and make them slaves as well. This was done world wide.

You can also compare the work force in China where most of the American goods come from. How close is this from slavery? How about the factories in Mexico and third world countries?

You can even compare slavery to sweet shops where illegal aliens are working to slavery?

    All of this is bad.

I read this morning that Harvard has suggested that Professor Gates move (Harvard owns the house in which Professor Gates lives) because of the death threats he’s been receiving. The threats included a bomb threat, and there have been racist signs posted outside his home calling HIM a racist. Sounds like the “opposite game” type of school yard shouting match, mentioned above. “I’M a racist? No! YOU’RE a racist!”

  40. senorbullwinkle

    senorbullwinkleGenius_badge said, 3 months ago

WBR, senile indeed. I said for 400 years it’s been the other way. I didn’t bring up slavery. Anybody that is not white, has had , and still (to a lesser degree now ) have a hard time because of racism. So if you say, this one time, they over reacted, well Its been the other way for a long long time. One time, and you cant take it. One, count them, ONE ! Quit your crying, your embarrassing your self !

Uh, slavery started with Muslims???? A little “bible study” might reveal that slavery started many thousands of years before Islam, and a lot of those slaves in Genesis and Deuteronomy were NOT Caucasian. Well, actually, nobody in Genesis was, but diatribe is not discussion. Which IS the point on Beck and other ranters.

From the information that seniorbullwinkle posted it had that information. It was a web search. It was located on the first to third site.
You are correct about slaves being in the bible. The Israelites themselves were slaves in Egypt.
I did not bring it up since the bible is usually mocked from the left side on this site. Even people that call themselves ordained priests and Christians admit they do not believe in the full Bible, just the parts they like.
But the left conveniently used it today.
