I’m praying for him to do just that. He doesn’t have to be like FDR in Every way.

Polly want a cracker! Polly want a cracker! GOP shill draws a cartoon saying smokers who want to quit shouldn’t hate the habit!
Newspapers would be in better shape if the GOP would pay for ad space instead of sending its cartoonists to carry their talking points into the papers.

As someone who is addicted to tobacco, he knows that signing the bill is the right thing to do…
There have been those who have accused Obama as being a “god”, so now, let’s poke at his failings and weaknesses. The man has an addiction that is tough to quit but he still is trying to do the right thing. What’s the problem with that?

At least he’s being honest about it.
Too many people condemn others for problems that they themselves are concealing… It’s why so many “family values” politicians are themselves having affairs. Admitting you have a problem is the first step, and lets you address others with compassion and understanding.

The bill is to ban smoking in public.. not smoking in general. Hell most smokers don’t mind that. Try again.
