Fairness compels me to point out something: The country of Mexico has some of the strictest anti-gun laws on the planet.

ANandy, I believe you’re referring to an April 2nd Fox News report that claimed that only 17% of the guns apprehended in Mexico were traced back to the US. That report was ridiculous, and has been exposed as such by the non-partisan politifact.com. Check out the interview on NPR: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=103224899. It says that the actual percentage of guns recovered at Mexican crime scenes is much closer to Obama’s 90% than Fox’s 17%.
