I am not sure what this means, the only thing I see is a despicable cartoon. What is the message here? Does he despise Newman for the liberal views he held?

No you fool. This is a takeoff from the scene in “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” when Newman and Redford jumped off the cliff…get it now?
