Well the look on her face more represents the fact that she hoped to get a good Cuban cigar, but was presented a 5th rank American.
But than again, whom should we ‘pity’?????????

She would eat him alive. I do not like the lady but even I have to admit she is a political animal! Biden who has this bad habit of telling it like he sees it does not have a chance against the harpy who can warp the truth with just a look. Cana Bills in another bed with his own women…

    Ah, well Satipera4,
The piece of rock-wood our ex prime-minister received may have been garbage, but the man believed in it.
And is that not that matters? Believe?
We all have our hopes to a better world, and therefore, in one way or an other we believe that the chosen politicians will do what is needed to fulfill our hopes.
The fact that most, if not all politicians do have a double, sometimes even a triple agenda, does not interfere with our hopes and believes, that’s why we are all stuck with a government that is inadequate to do the job. Simply, because your hopes and believes are not the same as mine. We share the hope of peace and prosperity, but what do you call the latter? a billion dollars at the bank? a good health?

    Satipera4,

I was just expressing some moody feelings myself, just found out that our PM has made a decision that was based on “feelings” and not on “best solution for all involved” So I wonder when our government will fall……… (I hope this minute)

    Satipera,

As you may have read/seen in the news, we have a dispute with the Belgian. We should have finished the dredging of the Westerschelde at the end of this year, a river that flows through Holland to Antwerp.
Due to environmental issues, we have decided to flood a polder in the province Zeeland.
Guess what? Our PM is from this province and has FAMILY living in that particular polder. Now he solemnly (=alone??) decided against this option and wants to implement a solution that will last at max 5 years.
He made this decision 1 day before he went on summer recess and was during his holidays not available for commentary. Next week the debate will start in Parliament, to discuss the option proposed by him, but more importantly, is the PM trustworthy enough to stay.
It may look as a small, not threatening, issue, but it cuts deep in the roots of our democracy.

    In a nutshell that’s what’s bothering me.

Ahhh, Friday … time for the Carl Moore grab bag.

And that is precisely what Carl Moore has done: grabbed his bag and the prospect of a Biden-Clinton co-existence and all that would mean.

BTW … did not know that Hillary has a humped right shoulder and a knee growing out of her left shoulder. Or is something else (ahem … someone else?) causing the bed clothes to pitch a tent? And, wow, if that’s Hillary’s left knee next to her shoulder, she sure is flexible, despite what the political right asserts …

Hillary would not do well with Biden, she would tear him up. She has aspirations to be president, and she will stop at nothing to get that.

Satipera, you did call it. Arsenal was gonna win that, although I was hoping for something a little bit closer.

I just wanted to comment that the caption under the picture in the paper says “A Team?”

Remember George Pepard in “The A Team”? Gosh, how I love it when a plan comes together!

Let’s see… Biden and foreign policy.

Like Obama, he vehemently opposed the highly-successful Iraq Surge strategy. Instead, Biden favored what amounted to surrender, and came-up with a harebrained proposal to split the country 3-ways.

In the 1980s, alleged foreign-policy expert Biden opposed every element of Reagan’s defense buildup that peacefully toppled the USSR.

Biden, in his deep foreign-policy wisdom, voted against the first Gulf War in 1991, which would have allowed Saddam to keep Kuwait and control a large chunk of the world’s oil supplies.

In the 1987 presidential primaries, he plagiarized British Labour leader Neil Kinnock’s speeches wholesale.

Oh, yeah, and remember how Biden schooled us all in the presidential campaign last fall regarding how FDR came on television in 1929 to discuss the Depression,

This supposed foreign-policy guru has claimed that we “kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon” somehow… which, of course, never happened. And he warned us seven months back that the new president would be “tested” by foreign adversaries, and that we should “gird our loins” for the Obama presidency… huh?.

Those are just a few of his gems. There are many others… and there will be many more as long as this clown remains a part of the Obama foreign-policy inner circle.
