I love how MSNBC showed the black guy carrying the AR-15 at the rally, but not his head, so you couldn’t see that he was black, then they went off on how gun toting racist white men were coming to the rally.
Just more of your typical left wing mass media that either makes outright lies, or leaves out critical pieces of information, to help support the Obamessia and Baboon Pelosi.

What’s the matter with an all-lesbian Marine division? Aren’t lesbians just like everybody else? Isn’t this the age of gender equality, especially in the military? Or is it sex equality? Or is it biological equality?
Don’t we all know that an all-lesbian division would be just as capable and effective as an all straight-male division? Or an all gay-male division? Or an all-transgender division? Or an all-hermaphrodite division? Or an all… well you get my drift.
What makes the thought of an all-lesbian Marine division so laughable? Answer… it just IS… and it is because it’s ridiculous… as ridiculous as believing an all-female division would be just as capable and effective in combat as an all-male division.
Men know, deep down, that when it comes to combat, in a men vs. women situation, women would be slaughtered. Pretending otherwise is simply a gross turning away from reality and human nature… which is what we are seeing in today’s politically-correct, gender-correct military. And some day it’s going to cost us big time.

Listen to all the fighting experts. A cross section from any grouping of women wouuld reveal that the gambet runs from whimpy whineys to hard @ss fighters … pretty much the same as with any group of men. Unlimited personalities with vast assortments of talent … but all part of mankind.

Did anyone else read that Obama gave $2,000,000,000 to the Brazilian National oil company so they could drill off shore? The same company that George Soros owns 20% of. I just don’t understand why this administration who promised change and transparency is giving our tax dollars to other countries so they can lower their oil prices.

Nancy love your post. I was wondering who was going to cover that story. One of the reasons whites are turning on Obama is you can only make so many racial hoaxes before people look at you and say no more. Jessie Jackson and his group has never sued a black company for discrimination, neither has Al Sharpton, those two are racist just for that.
Five will get you ten some one will call me a racist before this day is over.
The Professor Gates call a cop racist and Obama gets on top of it and it turns out to be a hoax by the professor. A black guy brings a M-16 to a political event and white people were called racists.
Here is the Fox news item on that issue:
Tuesday MSNBC showed video of a man carrying a semi-automatic rifle and a pistol outside the building where President Obama was giving a speech in Phoenix. Arizona is an “open carry” state, meaning having a legal firearm in the open is permitted. But anchor Contessa Brewer injected race into the story saying, “Here you have a man of color in the presidency and white people showing up with guns strapped to their waists,” which sparked a discussion about possible danger to the president.
The video was edited in way in which you can’t see the whole picture. The truth is the man featured there with the weapons was African-American, not white. No one on air ever pointed that out.
MSNBC never got back to us but told Politico Brewer was speaking generally and not about that specific person with the automatic weapon.
They run things like this and people on this site will call it faux news and a mouth piece for the Republican Party. Well what dose that make MSNBC. Fox is critical of Obama and the most critical but that is what a news agency is supposed to be. If MSNBC is not critical then what are they, an advocacy group.
The Polling firm PEW’s results pretty much backs Fox. What is scary is that all the politicians use PEW’s in this country. Please think about that. What dose that tell you? How should that effect a person decision?

A short list is the three back panthers who tried to stop voters during the election. Up to 100 black ACORN demanstrators not even in there own districts as a counter demonstration to health care. The black gentlemen with the M-16. All of Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson followers in every demonstration I have seen all my life. That should equal what a couple $100,000 grand. Good luck on me trying to collect.
Second were is my tunnel vision, I do listen to both sides of the story and I even brought something out of the media PEW’s to confirm my opinion. Please do the same.

Jack … the article says in clear, plain English that the class of ultrawealthy Americans is shrinking. It doesn’t say anything about the middle class.

Why shouldnt women be on the front lines in infantry roles? There are some that would do just as well, if not better than their male counterparts.
News stations should be critical of the government. If every news station were to be all for the government, then the gvt. could do whatever they wanted.
On the people brining guns to political rallies. They arent doing anything illegal, it looks bad, but not illegal.

It really is too bad you Yanks don’t learn from other countries. Isreal has had 50-50 split for male/female infantry since its’ inception in the 1940’s. No gender bias allowed or even necessary, as most of the women make excellent snipers too. Oh, and they carry their own gear too!

Robert Novak, who owned up to his biases and didn’t pretend to be objective is the model for the future of journalism. Don Hewitt will be remembered as part of a dying breed.
I respected the work of two great reporters who passed away in successive days this week, Robert Novak and Don Hewitt. But what I find odd about their obituaries – and by extension our media culture-is that Novak is identified in the obits as a conservative while Hewitt isn’t labeled a liberal.
I respected both tremendously and enjoyed their work precisely because I understood that they were both fierce partisans who believed strongly in their cause and knowing that, I was able to find my own beliefs by realizing that one was preaching to me from the right and the other from the left.
The problem was that Novak owned up to his biases while Hewitt, and the media culture he was a part of, pretended he didn’t have any, even as he tried to get me to be selectively outraged at the things that outraged him. He was able to push his biases both in the way he covered issues, but primarily by the stories he covered-and didn’t cover.
So while I will still continue to enjoy 60 Minutes every Sunday night (or whenever I choose to fire up the TiVo,) Robert Novak a man who owned up to his biases and didn’t pretend to be objective is the model for the future of journalism and Don Hewitt will be remembered along with Walter Cronkite as part of a dying breed of journalists who understood that the only way to guide America in their political direction was to pretend they were neutral and unbiased even as they injected their stories with their biases. The future belongs to reporters like Bill O’Reilly and Chris Matthews, who write and report, and wear their beliefs firmly on their sleeves and don’t insult their viewers with fake objectivity.

I see the role of a woman in combat the same as I see a problem with the openly gay in the military. If your lover is in danger but your unit needs you elsewhere, What are you going to do? Who’s more important?

Humphries… where? Marine Corps during Vietnam. I don’t want romantic attachments between soldiers. Remember we are dealing with teenagers who just might let their hormones be more important than their good sense. Maybe I’m wronge and kids today don’t think about sex 23 hours a day.

I think anyone who can stand up and do the job, should be allowed to. Its only a problem if their gender/ sexual preferences interfere with their ability to perform in combat.
That does happen. But not to all women, and not to all men, and not to all those who are shades in between.
I do not support the homosexual or lesbian lifestyle. However, that lifestyle may not be an impediment to serving their country, although I am afraid that it is in many cases.
Cohesiveness of a team of soldiers is crucial to staying alive. Trust is necessary., I think ,although I have never been in the military.

If Rommel had a choice between opposing an all-male tank division in North Africa or an all-female tank division, which one would he - or any general - choose to fight? Be honest and don’t give me that politically-correct nonsense about “women are every bit as good at savage, bloody, fight-to-the-death combat as men” crud because it’s just bull.

sable, I cant speak for Rommel, I would personally fight against all female. However, in World War 2, the Soviet army used, to great success, women snipers. One killed 309 germans. Thats not bad, regardless of gender.
