FLS, logic and reason is wasted here. When moonbattery constitutes an argument, rational discussion is futile.

If Obozo is so ashamed of our country why doesn’t he resign and do us all a favor.

The Obama policy is to do the opposite of the Bushies, that is, the U.S. will now sit down with the likes of Iran, North Korea and Russia and hash out deals. First, you draw a moral equivalency with your adversary - the U.S. interfered in the election and overthrow of Mossedeg so we are just as bad as they are - then, once you’ve put your adversary on the same level as yourself, you cut a deal amenable to both parties. Problem is, the popular uprising in Iran is quickly undermining this agenda. Yet Obama continues to believe he can put lipstick on the Iranian pig and call it a “realistic” policy.
.
The Iranian rebellion, though too soon to call a revolution, is turning out to be that 3 a.m. phone call for Mr. Obama. This is a moment for moral clarity and Obama’s “Let’s-Make-A-Deal-No-Matter-What” accomodative approach is fogging up his and the Dem’s rose-colored glasses. John McCain’s point about his inexperience and Jimmy Carter-like passsive instincts in a crisis is turning out to be prescient

Democratic government with nuclear arms vs totalitarian government without nuclear arms. Hmmm? I wonder which is best for a volatile region?

Um, respecting another countries soverign rights does not mean he’s ashamed of this country. I’m proud of Obama’s efforts to try and negotiate respectfully with other countries. In the past we’ve acted like a nation of thugs, punks and bullies. How are we supposed to be proud of that? It didnt get us anywhere.
Don’t forget, even if President Obama were to resign that’d just put Biden in office. You wouldnt be any happier.

At least Obama is actually being a diplomat, instead of “Do what we say, or we invade”.
GJ, I meant higher taxes on food, tobbaco, alcohol, and etc. Yes, I am healthy, although there is a burn on my right index finger.
On the “coming” H1N1, its already here, and sadly, there have been deaths. Hopefully, you are also healthy.

i must agree with
“Don’t forget, even if President Obama were to resign that’d just put Biden in office. You wouldnt be any happier.”
Biden is a bigger idiot then Obama is. But then again, he is white and white people then could pretest what he says.
Good day to you all!
Almost forgot to mention this:

“mytinytown - Hope all goes well for U this weekend with your wife & kids.I do occasionally (?!?) like to tease U”
Thank you, I believe we got our issue taken care of. Also, I do not mind at all being teased, picked on, made fun of, being told I am wrong whether I am or not. I just do not like personal attacks and I do my best to avoid them (though I do not always succeed). You seem to show me the same respect. I really enjoy coming here and stating my opinion (right or wrong) with people like you who have a different opinion (right or wrong).
To all:
Thank you for making my day more enjoyable!

mytinytown - What makes you think white people can’t protest Obama? I see it happen all the time. Most of the time it’s a legitimate protest. But even when it is racially motivated, like much of that moonbattery garbage, it is still tolerated.
Everyone called Obama on that ‘stupid cop’ remark. Obama was automatically defending his friend and stepped on his crank. He was wrong and he knew it. And when he got called on it he admitted his mistake and tried to fix it. The beer summit might have been hokey and odd but at least he was trying to talk and make the situation better.
BTW I did look at that moonbattery link above. FDR, a democrat, was a better President than Reagan or Bush could ever have dreamed of being. Better than Obama will be, I’m sure. But the guy couldnt even stand up by himself, much less throw a baseball. What does it have to do with anything? Bush is smart enough to have someone start a chainsaw for him and can hold it long enough for someone to stage a picture without hurting himself?
Personally I don’t want my President on a ranch chainsawing anything. Or hanging drapes for that matter. I want him doing what we pay him for, running this country according to the US Constitution.
mroberts88 said, 3 months ago
Thank you for answering that question Dypak. Thats a good point on the cop, Obama realized his mistake, and tried to fix it.

mroberts88 - I figured you may NOT have meant all taxes. Personally, I wish I had more income to tax - part of the un-employed & waiting for the economy to get better.
As for my health - I need to lose weight & get more exercise (don’t need the govt to pay some doctor $$ to tell me something I already know).
Want to “control” the high cost of food - buy in bulk & cook from “scratch”. Then U can have all the Sugar, Salt & Fat you desire WITHOUT all the added “chemical additives, preservatives, artificial flavors, etc).
My father lived to be a healthy 80+ years and enjoyed helping out with gardening, canning, freezing & cooking holiday meals. Everyone (male & female) helped to put food away by canning & freezing. It’s a good way to stave off inflation (it’s coming) & eat what you desire! Don’t have a garden, go to one of those “pick your own” places - lower prices & exercise - good combination for a healthy lifestyle.

Because he wants to provide us with his wisdom that’s why. It’s medication time I have to go now………..

sablebrush5, you forget that pigs are considered to unclean and that is an insult to their culture. We are witnessing “The Carterdoctrine” in diplomacy where you bend over backwards to appease your enemy and do everything to undermine your ally.

Attention Republicans!
If Obama is impeached or resigns, This Evil Wicked Witch from the West is one Heartbeat from being our First Female President!
All she has to do is get Biden out of the way and she becomes our Second President who was elected by only One State, the First was Gerald Ford in 1974 when he became President after Nixon was forced to resign in disgrace for being a Crook.
Ever stop to think she’s the one behind the false claims Obama was born in Kenya? Nancy Pelosi is on a Mission to become our First Female President by default, and she will destroy our once Great Nation. I cannot for the life of me understand why so called Conservatives want Obama Impeached or to Resign. Surly they didn’t forget their 4th Grade Civics Class on the Cession of the Office of President should something happen to the Sitting President and Vice President.
I Despise Nancy Pelosi, hence, why I call her The Wicked Witch of the West!

slug_queen - logic and reason is wasted on FLS too since his prime objective seems to be to just bash Moore no matter what he does. FLS is a one trick pony.
Regardless if you agree or disagree with Moore, I’d rather see something than “worst cartoonist ever” every single day as the first post.
FLS needs a new hobby.

Tigger - I think you give Pelosi way to much credit. She might be able to conceive of such a hare brained scheme but would be incapable of pulling it off. And if she did I think Hilary would just make Pelosi go away. After all Hildabeast is next in line after Fancy Pants Nancy.

Dypak,
I agree with you wholeheartedly about Obama’s handling of the Gates, Crowley, Beerfest thing. He showed a lot of class. Though he didn’t apologize, he knew he was wrong with his “stupidly” comment and arranged the beer get-together which, unlike most liberals in such a situation who would have given us some tiresome BS about confronting our racist history, used good humor and warm good-naturedness to diffuse the situation. The beer get-together was a much better scenario than some phone-baloney lecture about race relations, racial profiling and all the other silly crud coming from the race hustlers of academia.

The thing I most respect about the silly beer summit is how he kept the media out of it. Think how bad that would have been, the media in there, asking questions, telling us what we’re supposed to think. Bleh.

“I want him doing what we pay him for, running this country according to the US Constitution ” gets my nod . Not surrendering to a third world country , or running our Nation ( what’s remaining ) into the poor house ,would also help . Tighten up your belts boys & girls Canada is not an alternative . But they do have med care .
