Hillary needs to continue acting presidential and biding her time until BHO wrecks the country. She will look like a great replacement in 2012. I used to be a Hillary hater. Now, I think she is great, compared to BHO. In fact, anyone would seem great next to him. I just hope the country can survive the next 3 years.

You would be wrong. The actual water level should be a little less due to the expansion of water when it freezes.

Yeah, this would be a great argument if the South Pole floated like an ice cube in the water. Instead it sits on a land mass. Don’t forget class, Antarctica is a freaking continent. If we do your stupid ice cube analogy with the ice cube on the table, instead of in a glass, guess what you get? A wet mess.

Instead of just accepting every little lie that comes along we need to be questioning and looking for facts.

This is the person who couldn’t remember where she put the
Rose Law Firm records until (surprise-surprise) the day AFTER the Statute of Limitations on her lies and crimes had
run out. And, this very same person ruthlessly destroyed the
life of Billy Dale, who, after having to spend his life savings on
lawyers, was cleared of all charges. (This so some of her
uber-riche friends could get the WH travel office and get even
richer). And this bleeep had the guts to sit before a congressional committee and say that she didn’t consider

I agree 100% that Hilary Clinton, Bill Clinton and all the rest of what you call liberals are poor sources of information. It’s too bad none of the so-called conservatives will ever admit Governor Bush and self-selectd VP Cheney are ALSO unreliable.

Guys - thay ALL lie. You can’t trust any of them. And you’re an idiot if you think you can trust them. I don’t care if you had an Obama sticker on your car, or if it said McCain, your guy lies. It is up to us to watch them ALL and then try to vote for the ones who actually do something to help America, rather than their party.

Listen, about health care. The question isnt about who pays, it is a question of control. If the government pays they get to make the rules on who gets what. You’ll likely get adequate health care because they want us drones able to pay taxes. If private business pays you get excellent health care - but only as long as you can afford it. If you can’t you get nothing.

So, the question you should be asking yourself is; do I want the government to pay and own me? Or do I want privare business to pay and own me? It’s all up to who you want to own you. Either way you’re still a slave. Don’t kid yourself otherwise.

    —–
Man, is that just plain stupid, or what? The North Pole is melting and the South Pole is magically immune? The polar ice at the South Pole is just as dramatically slipping away as the ice in the North. Your ice cubes melting in a glass science lesson is still just as wrong and poorly thought out as it was before.

Face the facts, the worlds climate is changing. How or why isnt important. The real issue is who is going to make money off of it. All the so called conservatives want to do is let it thaw, that way we can get to the resources found at BOTH poles cheaper and easier. You say liberals, like Gore and his crowd, just want to make money forcing us to be Green. To me it looks like boith sides just want to make as much money off of us as they can.

To see what is happening at the South Pole go to:

I’m sure it’s all just liberal fairy tales, but what ever floats your ice cube.

Someguy, I’m not liberal or conservative. They both lie and I’m tired of being lied to. And I’m tired of loud, obnoxious people who think they are right because they can scream and shout louder than everyone else. People who don’t need facts to prove their point, they just ridicule and try to make other people look stupid. It’s time to grow up. The world is in too much trouble for adolescent games. You’re probably smart enough to get your point across without all the name calling. Or is your argument so weak you need to ridicule other people and their opinions in order to make yours stronger?

Everybody listen climate change is important, but it is not going to destroy the earth anytime soon. Not in a 100 years not in 200. Bad things can come from climate change some good things can come out of it, an increase in temp during the middle ages allowed for better agricultural development that allowed Europe to move out of those terrible times.

Listen back in the 70’s it was Global cooling. Now Warming. Now things are reversing itself again. There are two types of scientist on this band wagon. One are the scientist who take the measurements who are against the whole CO2 is making the world hotter. Then there are the ones who run the same data others have taken who are more likely not climatologists who want to make the info say what ever they want it to say. I am not asking anyone to believe me just learn both sides of the story and don’t make a punch of insults at people who disagree with you. Thank you.

President Obama has taken “Keep your friends close but your enemies even closer” to heart. With the ruckus about the legitimacy of his citizenship you can be assured if there were any evidence that he wasn’t a U.S. citizen her minions would have found it. However, she is also laying low and when the time comes she will strike.
I will say he did make a good choice for the office.

  16. Dypak

    DypakGenius_badge said, 3 months ago

The question of his citizenship is nonsense. It’s an embarrassment to the Republicans. If they’d have any sense they’d speak up against the idea. He does have a birth certificate, there are birth announcements in newspapers from the time. There are hospital medical records. Obama, like it or not, is a native born American and Constitutionally eligible to serve as President. Anyone trying to use this as a reason to hate on him is an idiot. There are lots of other reasons to bust on him without making one up. It makes the conservative elements of our country look like idiots.

Just think about it. Think how powerful ‘Muslim Extremists’ would have to be to able to plant someone like Obama 50 years ago. Think about how ridiculous the idea even is. Muslim extremists can hardly work together, much less hatch a half-baked plot like this. Why don’t we just worry about him being a space alien?

You got it there! They all lie, I just look for the lesser liar. Especially when it was between Obama and McCain, what a disappointing joke this past election was. That is about all I can agree with you on though.

You all know that if McCain had any issue with his birth you libs would be on him like white on rice.
    WAIT! You already did!

  18. Dypak

    DypakGenius_badge said, 3 months ago

You do know where McCain was born, don’t you? His father was a naval officer, serving in Panama. Unlike Obama McCain was NOT born in the United States of America. He was born in Panama. True fact. No one ever said a word about this. Probably because McCain is white. You and I know that even though McCain was NOT born in the US he can still be president since his father was military. But there are plenty of ignorant people out there who would have loved to have dumped on him for this.

The only reason people try to make an issue about Obama’s birthplace is because they are rascists. They can’t openly say anything about him being black so they point to his birth or his Muslim heritage instead. Like I say, slam the guy all day about his politics, but keep please stop the made up fairy tale nonsense. Thats for kids.

You are totally wrong about his race. It has ZERO to do with it. Mainly it is cause he is on the “other” side. White or Black we would have been after him the same. But it is a nice argument to paint ALL republicans as racists. Thank you for this.
BTW McCain’s father being military had nothing to do with his citizenship. It was more like he was born in out of the USA, but by 2 (not one like in Obama’s case) US citizens. We have plenty of proof to question it. Obama just chooses to blow it off when if it is a true is the biggest lies pulled over the countries eyes.
I recall a lot of fairytale non-scene from the left when it was pointed at George Bush, did you agree with this?

  21. Dypak

    DypakGenius_badge said, 3 months ago

Wasnt my intention to paint all republicans that way. My apolgies. Only the crazoids (both republicans and democrats) who fall for that birth certificate nonsense.

It doesnt matter how many US citizen parents you have. You could have ZERO US citizens as parents and still grow up to be president. Lets say an illegal immigrant Mexican woman who gives birth in California, that kid could grow up to be your president one day. It’s where you’re born that counts, in this case. Unless you’re like John McCain, then it doesnt matter.
    —-
What fairy tale nonsense about Governor Bush? I’m sure you mean how he stole the 2000 and 2004 elections? Sorry, but that’s proven fact, which any honest republican would agree with. I voted for Bush, both times, didnt like Gore, didnt like Kerry. But I can still admit that the Governor did not legally or legitmately win either one of his presidential elections. Which is why I call him Governor Bush. Honest people are able to admit when they lose.

I know that this is an over-simplified definition but let’s say that a socialist program is a program run with government money in competition with private business. Now let’s look at the some of these evil socialist programs in America.
    The United States Postal Service
Enough said. The first presidential cabinet level socialist program in America. Brain child of the socialist Ben Franklin, endorsed by those other well known socialists Thomas Jefferson and George Washington. Ran without competition for decades until Fed Ex and UPS showed up. Still has a monopoly on 1st class mail.

    Interstate and state highway systems
At one time all our major highways were built by private parties in competition with each other. They’re all gone now, they could not compete in a socialist economy.

    Public schools
In direct competition with parochial and private schools our public schools follow a carefully prepared curriculum of social and cultural indoctrination. Conform!

    Public libraries
At one time the only libraries in America were in private hands. Ben Franklin’s proposal to move them into the government sector was a critical first step in the socialist movement.

    Fire departments
The earliest modern fire departments were run on an almost subscription basis. Property owners paid a fee to the fire department companies who would come put out your fire when needed. The establishment of socialist government owned fire departments has nearly eliminated the privately owned ones. Only major corporations, such as GM, can afford their own fire services now.

    Police departments
In competition with the many private security businesses in America. Don’t forget that while their purpose is public safety many police departments have been used as a tool of the government.

    State lotteries
Once businesses could run their own lotteries. Try it now and the state will close you down. If you live in a state with legalized gambling you still have to beg and plead for a license to run your establishment. Oh yeah, and pay a considerable fee for the privilege.

    ABC stores
For those of you who don’t live in Virginia or New Hampshire an ABC store (Alcoholic Beverage Control) sells liquor. The people of certain states feel that the public cannot be trusted with the responsibility of the sale of alcohol and takes on that heavy duty themselves. As above, if you live in a state where you can own a liquor store you must once again beg, plead and pay for a license.

    American agriculture
Lets take a look at all those farm subsidies out there. How many farmers not receiving subsidies could stay in competition with a farmer who does receive one? Socialism. Dag nab it.

    Public radio and television
These propaganda tools of the government compete with public stations for the creation and forming of public opinion.

    AMTRAK
The only public nation wide rail transportation system in America, and it is run by We the People.

    Public transportation
How about those cities fortunate enough to have bus, subway and rail systems. If they aren’t completely owned by local or state government they are heavily subsidized. And they only go where the government approves.

    Energy
It takes a lot of money to create and run an energy grid powerful enough for our nation. Over the years huge government subsidies have gone to paying for American private energy corporations.

    Hospitals
Brace yourselves folks, we already have socialized medicine! Guess what all those state and county owned hospitals and clinics are. Sure, you have to pay to go there, but guess who gets the money.

All joking aside saying we don’t want a national health care policy because we don’t like socialism is just plain stupid. We’ve had socialistic elements in our government since before the US Constitution, and we’ve done pretty good so far. The reward is worth the risk.

The logical tendency of Obama’s healthcare insurance reforms, despite his explicit denial, will be an inexorable movement towards a single-payer system as his reforms will not control costs or utilization, and the only alternative left will be to enhance the control of the plan via explicit rationing, by a bureaucrat, of the care delivered. The central authority must then decide which health services are provided and which denied, who should receive them and who should not, when they should be given, all in addition to its current function of attempting to determine prices. Such a centralized system must logically retrograde into chaos because pricing signals to patients, doctors, and hospitals will be so distorted that they cannot guide resource allocation.

Make no mistake, Obamacare will devolve into a singe-payer, government-run system that will mean your healthcare will be in the hands of bureaucrats. This is a surefire recipe for mediocre healthcare, the drastic slowing down of pharmaceutical and medical procedure innovation, and the loss of your freedom to buy and determine by your own initiative the type and quality of healthcare you want.

Your references to “socialism” in America are full of holes.
Government has a legitimate role in most, if not all, the
    activities you mention.
One, as a for instance, the postal system. Sure, they have a monopoly on 1st class postal service, but would FedEx or UPS deliver a 1st class letter to Slapout, Oklahoma for 44 cents? I wouldn’t hold my breatth! One could say that if a resident of Slapout wanted a letter, let him pay the cost, but the benefit of a public postal system, with citizens keeping in contact and business being conducted make it
a very desirable system. And as a long-time philatelist,
I can assure you that the much maligned USPS is, in
fact, the best postal system in the world. No privately
held company could do what they do.
