Funny, how in eight years, your ‘pro-life’ President didn’t do a bleeep thing to the abortion laws in this country. Maybe because he knew it’s a political ‘third-rail’. So he gave lip service to the cause.

With all the TV exposure Cheney’s been getting now that he’s crawled out of his undisclosed location, it looks like he’s the one with the ego problem. As far as stroking, well, those bits probably don’t work any more.

Obama is looking more and more ridiculous with each passing release of Gitmo detainees. $200 million to Palau to take, what, 15 detainees? How much to Bermuda to take 4 Uighers, one of whom plans to open a restaurant featuring “Cheney Flambe’” and a “Bush Barf Burger.” They’ll swim in the Caribbean, catch rays on the beach and flip the finger to Obama in spite of his making nice-nice.
Wow, Obama is certainly fulfilling his campaign promises… even if it is at the expense of looking like a fool. Ya gotta admire this kind of nonsense - it’s in a category all its own.

And hey- to the guy who wondered yesterday where I got my numbers: it’s called a poll. There are many of them. The company called ‘Research 2000’ (which tends to trend conservative) released a poll conducted 6/8-6/11, in which the President’s numbers are 64% favorable, 32% unfavorable. And 65% is more than a clear majority. (And as Stephen Colbert said at the Press Correspondent’s dinner, that last third is mostly backwash…

Though I do agree with you. Mark Trail seems to have a one track mind. I too find the abortion practice horrific. But it’s not the only thing I comment on.
Please Mark, do the movement a favor and expand the comment topic a little. There are other evils out there to battle as well! (And I’m asking you as a comrade-in-arms, my brother!)

Their has been some comment on why Bush did not outlaw Abortion.
Here is what happened.
Then after all this they claim Cheney tortured known terrorists by spraying water on them. While ( Obama, democrat party, liberal judges appointed by them and the liberal media) have been 100% for the slaughter of million of babies through abortion and partial birth abortion. Killing babies is OK for the Obama and the Democrats but you better not hurt an animal or mother earth.
I would rather spray water on terrorists than kill millions of babies.
Then the Obama, democrats and the liberal media is for the gay movement, sex on demand taught at public schools and colleges which is the main source of STDs.
Most of the liberals complain or attempt to rub the noses of republicans in all the problems. All the while they do not understand the filibuster process, how the democrats fought everything bush wanted to do and even know the democrats had the power in Washington the last two years of Bush’s administration.
All the while the war in Iraq continued, fuel prices soared to the highest lever and everything else that the liberals are crying about continued. Most of the problems in Washington are the democrats fault. Now they have full power and nothing has changed except the countries national debt has climbed from 1 trillion to 10 trillion. Nothing is going to change for the better it is only going to get worse and worse. All the liberals are going to give Obama a free pass and the media will put all this on Bush’s plate.

I will try to put in in lame terms. If you wanted to outlaw strip clubs (nude bars).
They were 100 people to outlaw them. 47 of them were the club owners (These were the democrats), 2 being part owners ( these were the independents). Then you had 51 votes to have a majority to outlaw them (these were the Republicans). 48 of them voted for the ban. The other 3 are from Main, Rhode Island and Pennsylvania. They feel a majority of their voters like strip clubs and may loose their seat so they side with the club owners. This is what happened a lot.
Here is another example. A law is going up for vote that is for the better of the country. The democrats do not want to pass anything that is better for the country so they count the votes they think will fall in each favor before the vote. If they are going to lose they call a filibuster.
This is common knowledge, I figured as much complaining the liberals do they would know this.

Wow there is much love here! I don’t believe there has been anyone that has come out and said they are pro-abortion or like to ‘slaughter’ ‘millions of babies’. I personally say instead of bickering about whether abortion is right or wrong, whether it should be funded or not, let’s collectively find a solution and fund initiatives that solves the need for so many in the first place. Why not argue a solution instead of the problem?

I used the example on the Republicans. The Democrats do the same thing. The find out how the vote is going to go and they will vote in either direction if they know it will fail or pass. The Democrats are king on this especially during the elections cycle.
I can tell most of the people leaving comments are democrats. I was around a heavily populated democrat area last night.
It was an apartment complex. They have apartments for both regular renters and section eight. The section eight apartments only have tile. The government does not want to get held responsible for the carpet. They already know the apartments are going to be trashed when they leave.
The apartment complex had to evict 80% of the people their for not paying their rent. The remaining tenants have torn up the empty apartments to a degree that most of the sheetrock is off. The remaining walls are full of gang signs. All that was left of any value was stolen. The apartments smell extremely bad, they are filthy, the windows are broken and the juvenile kids are having sex in the empty apartments. They also have three armed guards on site.
By the way 99% of the people their voted for Obama. This was a majority of the Obama voters. I guess if you voted for him you are no different than them.

Heaven forbid should a terrorist attack happen on U.S. soil or to a U.S. property abroad and it turns out that the person(s) who carried out such an attack turned out to be former GITMO detainees. Of course “Barack the Benevolent” and his minions would say: “See. this wouldn’t have happened if Bush hadn’t detained these people to begin with.”

Next week, they are broadcasting a special called “Questions for the President: Prescription for America” from INSIDE the White House. It will be a question and answer session with questions selected by ABC News from members of an “audience.” The only side of the health care debate that will be presented is Obama’s. So much for that blurry line of separation
We already have the universal health care county health clinics and Medicaid or at lest that is what it is going to end up as.
That should get the national dept to about 20 trillion by 2012 plus anything else he does.

By claiming you are pro-choice, you are obviously condoning the practice of abortion, otherwise you would declare that you are against it. As one who is opposed to abortion as a free choice alternative to birth-control, avoiding the nuisance of an unwanted baby or any other such reason, I can see no difference between being pro-choice and pro-abortion. You are in favour of terminating the life of an unborn infant either way. You cannot claim to be against bank robbery, but in favour of free choice for those who wish to rob banks. It is a contradiction.

I gave the proof with the last comment. Obama is for other disturbing items as well. Obama is bringing change alright. Change to bring this country straight down. As stated what do you expect from a Muslim president that was the most liberal senator in congress. Furthermore he attended an anti-American, racial church for 20 years.
You are either for it or against it. If you voted for Obama and the democrats you must be for it because that is what they are doing and have been doing.
It is also funny when the liberals complain, cuss and say all kinds of disturbing items none of the liberals even call it to attention. When something that is stated that is damaging to the Obama administration and the democrats people start to complain such as GE_Jehosaphat.

^ what are you talking about? I looked up HR 1913, read four different sites and what you wrote is not included. It adds sexual orientation to list of hate crimes, but there is no definition of that term, much less the 547 terms you said were in it.
