Yet it was ronnie the raygun that sold arms to the enemies of the united states, that supported the rapers of nuns and murderers of children, even calling them the “moral” equivalent of our founding fathers. The pro-birthers care nothing for a child once it is born and only when it’s in the womb to use it as a political tool. Funny how Pakistan has stepped up to fight the Taliban since President Obama was elected.

Not to mention how comfy-cozy St Ronnie and his pals were with Saddam Hussein. Some people like to conveniently forget that we sold him arms- arms that he later used on Kuwait.

And yeah, Mark T has an interesting view of ‘life’. He and his friends will picket a Planned parenthood clinic but won’t bat an eye at the civilian casualties in Iraq. And they don’t seem to be too troubled at the mess in Darfur, either.

Hey, where’s Obama going to put those Gitmo detainees? Even the Democrats voted down the appropriations for closing Gitmo without an Obama “plan” for where they will go.

Of course, the only sensible place to put them is right where they are - in Gitmo. But Obama, in his zeal to be the holier-than-thou savior of American moral values, is making a typical liberal show of his righteous disgust with Bush/Cheney’s having kept us safe for 71/2 years. Never mind that whatever he decides to do, it will cost us additonal millions and will not significantly increase our security except that it will please those even more holier-than-thou Frenchmen and Germans who somehow can’t find a way to put their courageous soldiers in harm’s way in the fight against terrorism… oops, I mean “overseas contingency operations.”

So, Jesus would agree with the idea of aborting babies? You have got to be kidding. Also, if socialism was the “religious” form of government, the bible would be pushing the idea of government collecting taxes and deciding who “deserves” the money. Instead, the bible consistently talks about the individuals’ duty to take care of his fellowman.

In the late sixties early seventies Jesus was promoted as a long-haired, sandle wearing, anti-establishment person.
Well, the first two were coreect. when confronted by the Pharisees to whom are the Jews are to pay tribute to Rome
or God thinking they have him boxed in because if he said “Rome” he would be denying that he was the “Son of God” or if he said “Rome” he was declaring himself as a fraud.

Jesus then asked for a coin of the relm. He asked the religous leader who’s face appears on the coin he aswered: “Ceasar”. Jesus then said “Then render unto Ceasar that which is Ceasar’s and unto God that which is God’s.” Thus supporting the local authority. God asks us to help others. That does not mean for the citizens to ask the government to help others.

Satipera, is right Christianity is definitely supposed to be socialist. Any Christian out who disagrees with that go read Acts of the Apostles. I do wish that you wouldn’t call it mythology, though. I find that rather insulting.

Hi Johnny. I don’t think that some people would understand your comment. I do, and you are right about the book of Acts. Thanks.

BTW, for anyone interested. True christains DO care about the child once it is born. I’m sorry that the activists give us a bad name.

Christianity expresses the need to help the poor through their rescources not to have a “government” do it.

christianity is a scam, always was and always will be. Those who sing it’s laurels the loudest are the ones who practice it the least. If 10% of those who profess to be christian actually adhered to it’s teachings there would be far more harmony and less strife in the world.

Now you might think that Marky-Mark Trailerpark could sort of shift his “sanctity of life” posture to the victims of indiscriminate bombings from remote-controlled drones (yes, as sanctioned by current CinC). Might even get a sympathetic response or two in the process.

    Hint, hint, hint?
