   Cars don’t really have fenders anymore. In the old days, fenders (4) covered the wheels. Bumpers (2) protected the front and back of the car from hitting something.

   Good to see you look it up. I was about to let you know what a “fender” is. Never heard it called a wing before though. That I suppose is like a wind screen or even a bonnet.

   I always refered to the fenders as being the front only and the quarter panels are in the rear.

   Now when he said this do you know if he was just repeating a joke he heard? Or if he really believed this and is a racist? I recall Reagen jokes in the past about the 2 clowns, Ronald McDonald and Ronald Reagen. Listen very closely to this.
   Blacks makes jokes about blacks and it is funny. Whites make jokes about blacks and it is racism.
   Why? Cause on the other foot, blacks makes jokes about whites and it is funny too. Example: South Park, Chef always calls the little white boys crackers, is this OK from your point of view?

    satipera: I don’t know about the States, but in Canada, when we say “fender benders” I always assumed the damage was on the “bumper”, because “fender bender” occurs during rush hour(and is considered mild.) Now I’m not sure.

    How will anyone know who the true Christians are if you argue and curse your fellow humans? Just a thought.

    Maybe you don’t know the original joke, so I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt. I’m sure you can Google the punchline, though.

    I have no clue what anyone else thinks. I do know what was written, and, as I said, the “joke” has racial implications. Doesn’t matter if it was repeated or if it was this person thinks; the statement stands on its own accord. Actions are all we have to judge people on.

    And if you want to make a context argument, then you would agree that given the implications of the original joke, that the context makes the “joke” even more inappropriate.

    South Park is sophomoric and boorish; I don’t watch it. But, for what its worth, I don’t like the use of “cracker” in that sense either.

    Go ahead and “warn” whoever you want (whatever that means).
