   Before he was inaugurated, many thought one of Obama’s challenges politically would be to avoid caving in to the Pelosi wing of the Dems. The stimulus package turned out to be a Pelosi/Reid monstrosity and Obama didn’t lift a finger to reign in the pile-on-the-pork leftists. Too bad.

   He had a chance to put down some markers that would have told the Pelosis, the Reids, and the Schumers that he couldn’t be rolled. Now we know he’s not only not resisting them, he’s one of them.

   A month ago this cartoon would have worked, but by now, she’s not a Sisyphean stone forever rolling back down in Obama’s face, she’s his mentor, his guru, his true spirit, and, as such, she and he are OUR stones of toil and trouble for the next four years and maybe even (I can’t bear the thought of it) eight years.

    I have read 1984 and Animal Farm both, Orwell made it clear that socialism can still be an authoritarian government. Yes Orwell was a socialist. He made it clear that any form of government could be come authoritarian.

    Just like Hitler taking property and redistributing wealth in the people’s name. By eliminating Jews, and anti-Nazi political activist then giving it to his cronies. That is why it is called National Socialism. Hugo Chavez in Venezuela is doing the same thing today taking property from people who do not tow the line and giving it to others. Chavez is locking people up in jail and giving that property to people who can’t even use those assists. His redistribution of land is a flop. People cannot live on 10 acres of land. Yes 10 acres. Their Sub-existence is terrible.

    My grand father was a farmer. You need 700 acres. 400 if it is real good land with an in demand cash crop. A farmer with enough land can supply most of his own food, sell some for cash, then buy equipment. From buying equipment factories are opened for tractors, movable conveyor belts for taking hand pick crops out of the fields. On the same 10-acre plot that Chavez uses no one can do that. His system has failed in the old Soviet Union, yes they tried that under Lenin., failed all over the world. Those lack of factories mean a lack of jobs.

I even posted his comment to you on the 27th of Feb a day or two ago and he told me, thank you for saying I didn’t call every body a racist. He used the word Bigot. I am really tired of people being experts on what people should think.

    Pelosi is just a shield in the event the policies implimented fail. Since she is from a “safe disctrict” she won’t suffer the lose of her office unless she decided to step down. However, she will lose the Speakers position.
