    It’s all well and good until someone slips into a universe where their girlfriend has died….

    I had started Starslip rather late in its run. I’ve been waiting for this moment since I started from the beginning on gocomics. :(

    Yes travel long enough across universes and you start to find major changes you can’t ignore. For me it is celebrity deaths. Some die earlier in some A-lines than others. First noticed it back in HS in the 1960’s when I thought Jimmy Durante was dead then not and died a week to a year later.

    So..NG…you’ve noticed stuff like that too huh? My most recent is Bob Newhart, I KNOW he died after two “The Librarian” movies, but in this one he did 3 movies and is still alive and kicking…go figure…

    @Buckster

    Maybe you a “sliding” into near by parallels so close only the souls switch with compatible analogs in the close universes.

    My god, this must be a parallel universe! That would explain why Elvis was alive and well and living in the White House a few days ago, but in THIS universe he seems to have been dead for years. So if it wasn’t Elvis, who saved us from that alien invasion in 2003?
