    ‘O…kay… I don’t think you’re quite getting this, Vanderbeam."
“Uh…try reversing the polarity on the neutron flow…’
“What the *(&$ good is that going to do?’

    @Bruno Zeigerts

    No….cross circuit to B.
Reroute power through engineering, bypassing life support and interfacing with the gel packs in cargo bay 3.
Oh, just press that green button!

    I can’t believe I’m saying this…
The way Vanderbeam is dealing with the seriousness of the situation is…to some degree…somewhat…impressive.

    There. I said it.
    I feel better.

    It’s OK—it always stops at 1.

Blow the locks on the clamps and see what happens.

Beam them out, Scotty, before it’s too late! Oh, that’s right – Starslip, not Star Trek.

I have no personal life as such. Never could manage it. Without people skills it is hard to do much no matter how skilled you are. I am disabled. So I keep busy.
I fancy myself a writer an so I have things to say. I am not on the computer all of the time. maybe I type a bit fast.
From a working stand point I really can’t. Not enough to warrant trying to find a job in this Depression and depriving another of it.
I’m not blaming anyone else. I don’t drink alcohol and rarely eat cold pizza. I try to keep it tidy and it is in need of a vacuuming.
I walk when I can but it is Summer now and if I don’t get up early enough it gets too hot to walk.
Yes not published. A terrible thing but I still draw and write anyway because I must. Even if nothing is ever published I do it.
Did you perchance read anything else I have commented on. There isn’t much here to really say much about.

She took more notice of those ten words than anything else that day.
