I saw the last few innings of the 13 July Rangers / Tigers game.
The Tigers don’t have a thing to brag about after what went down, especially with how they practically handed the Rangers a run via a double-play of incompetence with throwing the ball.

Sey Hey Darren – First, thanks for looking in at my feature. I did not see the highlights or in this case the lowlights so I didn’t see the play(s) your referring to. With the All-Star break coming up it seems alot of teams are looking forward to the four-day break. In other words their enthusiasm is lacking. And the Tigers showed that. It’s too bad because Sherzer could’ve been a 14-game winner if the offense gave him some support. But the game today is not what it was. Then again, all sports have changed and money is the culprit.

It was in the last third; I was up and down, so I don’t recall which specific inning.
The Rangers were at bat, and IIRC they had a man on second.
The next Ranger up made it to first, and the ball went over to the Tigers players near second.
One Tigers player decided to pop the ball up in the air as a toss to another player near the base rather than simply toss it back to the pitcher.
The player he was tossing to didn’t quite catch it, and so the Rangers player on second was able to make it to third.
The Tigers player with the ball pitched it home, but the Tiger at home fumbled the catch, allowing the Ranger to cross the base.
That put the game 5-1 Texas.
