I don’t know about that, Jonah……God’s reception seemed to have no problems.

It is written, “A fool says in his heart ,‘There is no GOD’.” BTW I think that Jonah was the greatest preacher ever. He converted the entire city of Nineveh. The worse preacher could have been Noah. He preached over 100 years while he built the Ark and converted noone. Just my ideas . . . just saying . . . .

The moral of that story: don’t just tell the Truth to the believers, spread the Word to non-Jews like in Nineveh. That was the message of this story in the Bible, the Word of God wasn’t meant for a small group in one place, if you know something don’t keep it to yourselves.

Yes, but very few people understood the distinction when it was originally written.

It’s a bunch of stories written by a group of semi-illiterate, ignorant and superstitious desert people during the Bronze Age.

It must be VERY hard to get reception in a time when cell phones hadn’t even been invented yet.
